The most important achievements of the General Organization for Export and Import Control during the year 2022
The number of letters presented to the General Organization for Export and Import Control during the year 2022 reached (103,392) letters.
Industrial imports:
The number of industrial import letters reached (81,377) messages. The number of (78,055) letters was accepted, and (3322) letters were rejected.
Non-industrial imports:
Non-industrial import letters reached (22015) letters, (21477) letters were accepted and (538) letters were rejected.
The letters presented to GOEIC laboratories amounted to (249,796) messages during the year 2022.
1. The number of samples examined was (29168) food samples.
2. The number of (108,070) chemical samples.
3. The number of (11019) contract samples.
4. The number of (101,539) industrial samples.
The Certificate of origin:
The General Organization for Export and Import Control issued (362,893) certificates of origin during the year 2022, in accordance with the protocols of the rules of origin applied in the preferential agreements concluded between Egypt and other countries for the application of customs exemptions and benefits granted to Egyptian exports. These certificates were between (the emblem of the League of Arab States- Bilateral agreement - COMESA - MERCOSUR - EUR1 - EUR MED – FORM-A - G.S.T.P - AFCFTA).

Training Centre:
The training center of the General Organization for Export and Import Control received (2712) trainees during the year 2022, and one of the most important training programs.
1. The practice of exporting.
2. The practice of importing.
3. ISO programs.
4. Training students inside and outside GOEIC.
5. Administrative programs to raise the efficiency of workers.
6. Other various programs.

The number (26,214) records were extracted during the year 2022 between new registration, renewal and addition, and the data showed the volume of business as follows:
