 Unit activities

1.     Raising the quality and efficiency of laboratories

2.  Enhancing and drawing on the services provided and investing the available resources (individuals -   experience - modern equipment) in an optimal manner.

3.  Expanding the scope of proficiency tests to raise the technical personnel in conjunction with the   development of capabilities and modern technologies in GOEIC's laboratories, and in line with the       strategic plan and keeping pace with developments in the field of laboratories

4.     International accreditation of the Technical Proficiency Tests Unit.

5.     An early warning system for problems and work to solve them quickly.

6.     Publishing an annual program for technical proficiency testing programs conducted by the unit to serve all governmental laboratories, non-governmental laboratories and similar laboratories in all countries of the world in accordance with the scope of unit accreditation in accordance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17043

7. Issuing certificates of technical competence for all laboratories participating in the programs published in the annual program for all technical activities according to the scope of unit accreditation.

8. Developing and operating technical activities and adding them to the scope of unit approval and amending the annual program

9. Providing technical support services to all examination and measurement laboratories interested in obtaining accreditation, whether they are government laboratories, large industrial factories laboratories, government laboratories, government research laboratories in Egyptian colleges, institutes and universities, laboratories of auditing companies and international laboratories all over the world.
