The General Organization for Export and Import Control hosts a delegation from the Chinese company CVC to enhance technical cooperation in the fields of inspection and testing.

Within the framework of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade policy aiming at developing the quality infrastructure system, enhancing the efficiency of inspection and testing procedures, and facilitating the flow of foreign trade, the GOEIC hosted a delegation from the Chinese company CVC at the GOEIC’s premises. The meeting aimed to explore ways to strengthen the existing cooperation and expand areas of joint technical collaboration.

The visit witnessed a coordination meeting between the two sides that addressed mechanisms for enhancing cooperation in the field of pre-shipment inspection certificates and exchange of technical expertise in inspection and testing operations. It also involved a review of the latest relevant developments and practices, aiming to improve the efficiency of the technical workflow and strengthen integration between the two parties.

Engineer Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the GOEIC, confirmed that the Organization works under the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade to strengthen technical partnerships with specialized international institutions make use of modern expertise and technologies to enhance inspection and testing systems, thereby supporting product quality, maintaining the efficiency of the regulatory framework, and contributing to the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
