Today, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, received members of the Saudi delegation from the Saudi Export Development Authority in an extensive meeting to discuss the decisions governing the export process and research on the obstacles facing exporters in registering Saudi companies with the Egyptian side and the future working mechanism and making electronic registration available, in the presence of both:
- Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Zakir - Chief Executive Officer, Saudi Export Development
- Mr. Zayed Al-Asmari - Saudi Trade Annex in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Mahous - Adviser to the Executive Chairman of the Saudi Export Development Authority.
- Mr. Musa al-Muslim - Adviser to the Executive Chairman of the Saudi Export Development Authority.
- Mr. Nasser Al Saeed - Office of the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Export Development Authority.
- Ms. Hala Al-Reis - Director of Services Export Department of the Saudi Export Development Authority.
- Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Kossi - External Liaison Officer, Saudi Export Development Authority.
- Mr. Tamer Al-Mashraqi - Director General of Marketing and Corporate Communication.
- Ms. Alia Al-Wahibi - Executive Director of the President's Office.
- Mr. Ahmed Saeed - Local Commercial Public Relations.
Eng. Essam Al-Naggar reviewed the role of GOEIC and functions as a monitoring body for the qualitative inspection of industrial and non-industrial imports and the departments responsible for testing and testing. He also reviewed the factories of the General Organization for Export and Import Control in the governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Al-Naggar reported, that GOEIC established the "Certification Unit for the Conformity of Products in accordance with World Standard 17065". The registration of the conformity certification unit of the SABER platform Saudi Arabia is a participation of GOEIC in facilitating the Egyptian exporter and ensuring the reputation of Egyptian exports in the Arabian Gulf countries. The approved Exporter system was also cited as a great opportunity for exporters to access foreign markets by providing an alternative "invoice statement" as one of the most important documents required for export under trade agreements, namely the certificate of origin.
Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Zakir, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Export Development Authority, asked about the facilities provided by the General Organization for Export and Import Control to the business community of exporters in Saudi Arabia in case of exporting their products to the Arab Republic of Egypt. He asked how to inquire about the registered companies in accordance with ministerial decision No. 43/2016.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia also added the vision of the Saudi Export Development Authority in improving the efficiency of the export environment We have opened new export opportunities for national goods and services in Africa's most promising markets, particularly the Egyptian market, which has embraced national exports for decades. We also encourage the Saudi exporter to build a partnership with a selected group of exporters with high export competence and prioritize them in the provision of services and to provide qualitative incentives to the different stages of the exporters' journey and to develop exporters' skills by offering workshops and professional certificates in export and electronic training.
During the meeting, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar gave GOEIC's shield to Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Zakir, CEO of the Saudi Export Development Authority, as an expression of his pleasure in meeting him.
In conclusion, the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, visited the Central Directorate of Information Technology and the Telecommunications Centre through various industrial and food Laboratories of the General Organization for Export and Import Control.
