In order to support Egyptian exports GOEIC participates in the activities of the 17th session of the Cairo International Leather Fair

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and in coordination with the Federation of Egyptian Industries (Chamber of Leather Industry), with the participation of more than 150 Egyptian companies in the sectors of shoes, leather products and production requirements.

The General Organization for Exports and Imports Control participates in the activities of the 17th session of the Cairo International Leather Fair in order to support Egyptian exports and introduce companies to the benefits of registering the General Organization for Exports and Imports Control as one of the entities issuing certificates of conformity in the field of textile products, furnishings, ready-made clothes and leather products in Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (Saudi Saber system) and the importance of registering  GOEIC on the electronic platform of the "Saber" program.

The General Organization for Export and Import Control is the first accredited Egyptian Governmental Organization to be registered in the Saudi Saber system and to be granted a certificate of conformity assessment in accordance with International Standard 17065: ISO/IEC. 

Eng. Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, confirmed that GOEIC is keen on permanent communication with the exporters and importers community in order to inform them of the latest services provided by GOEIC with the aim of facilitating the businessmen community and in a way that contributes to opening new export markets for Egyptian products in various external markets. 

This comes within the framework of the GOEIC efforts to develop exports and cooperate with exporters to open new markets for Egyptian products. 

Where the General Organization for Export and Import Control represents a major axis within the strategy of the Ministry of Trade and Industry aimed at promoting and developing foreign trade and achieving the goals of the Egyptian state’s plan to reach the value of exports to 100 billion dollars annually, especially in light of the GOEIC possession of a large number of competencies and young cadres that can be used in Upgrading the services system and speedy implementation of procedures in line with the requirements of the digital transformation adopted by the state.
