Minister of trade and Industry issues a decision on the competence of the GOEIC to issue certificates of free sale of exported industrial goods and products

 Ms. Nevein Jamma, Minister of Trade and Industry, issued a decision on the competence of the General Organization for Export and Import Control to issue certificates for the free sale of industrial goods and products whose export requires the existence of such certificates. The decision shall operate from the day after the date of its publication in the Egyptian facts.

Eng./ Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, explained that the certificates of free sale prove that the product to be exported is sold or traded in the Local  market and orders certain goods when exporting to some countries, which include cosmetics products, supplies, sterile and non-sterile medical devices, some food and pharmaceutical products and some materials of the pharmaceutical industry.

Minister of Trade and Industry Ms. Nevein Jamma agreed to exclude The import shipment received for the private use of companies and factories that were shipped until 26/4/2022 from the application of Ministerial Decree No. 126 of 2022 on the Modification of some provisions of the regulations implementing the provisions of Law No. 11 of 1975 on import and export and the system of inspection and control of imported and exported goods. As part of the Ministry's full support to the business community and in response to their demands.

It is worth mentioning that import for private use is all that is imported to complete the activity and not for personal use to realize the benefit of the imported activity such as spare parts, machinery, import documents is a license for the activity or investment approval or any document that refers to the license of the activity.
