The GOEIC signs a cooperation protocol with Fresh Electric for Home Appliances

Within the framework of the Egyptian State’s directions towards enhancing the competitiveness of national industry and supporting Egyptian exports, and in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh to develop the quality and control system and raise the efficiency of services provided to the business community, the GOEIC signed a cooperation protocol with Fresh Electric Company, to cooperate in the fields of inspection and technical analysis, training and qualification and environmental sustainability in accordance with the latest international standards and specifications.

The protocol was signed by Engineer Essam El-Naggar, President of the GOEIC, and Engineer Khalil Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fresh Electric, within the framework of supporting integration between regulatory bodies and the industrial sector in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality of Egyptian products and increasing their competitiveness in global markets.

The protocol aims to cooperate in carrying out technical tests and analyses of electrical products and devices, and to benefit from the technical capabilities and advanced laboratories of the Authority, in addition to cooperation in the areas of carbon footprint, environmental sustainability reports, technical qualification and training programs.

This cooperation comes in line with the vision of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade aimed at developing the trade and industry system, supporting the shift towards sustainable production, and enhancing the readiness of Egyptian products to access international markets in accordance with modern quality and environmental standards.
