The Egyptian delegation visited Tunisian Textile Technical Center CETTEX to learn about the center’s analytical and technical services in the field of textiles and to explore prospects for future cooperation between Tunisia and Egypt.

 

On November 20, 2025, Mr. Mohsen Messaoui, Director General of Tunisian Textile Technical Center (CETTEX), received the Egyptian delegation headed by Eng. Essam El-Naggar, President of the Egyptian General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC), Dr. Rasha El-Nemaki, Director General of Food and Chemical Laboratories and Executive Director of the Conformity Certificate Unit 17065 at the GOEIC, and Mrs. Hasnaa Chahdoura, Head of Bilateral Cooperation at the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI).

This visit provided the Egyptian delegation with an opportunity to learn about the tasks and services of the Textile Technical Center, its analytical and testing laboratory facilities, its new activities in innovation, research and development, and its expertise and technical support services provided to companies in the textile and garments sector.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the practices and experiences of both countries in the field of textile testing and analysis, as well as the technical expertise of the textile sector, and exploring prospects for future cooperation between Tunisia and Egypt.
