(21%) Decrease in the value of The Egyptian non-petroleum Imports during September 2019 compared to September 2018 News M.G. Ismael Gaber - Chairman of GOEIC announced that GOEIC had issued its comparative monthly report of September 2019 for the Egyptian non-petroleum imports which showed a decrease in the Egyptian non- petroleum imports with a value of (1.381) milliard dollars or (21%) compared to September 2018. Where the value of the Egyptian non- petroleum imports during September 2019 reached (5.110) milliard dollars versus (6.491) milliard dollars during September 2018. The report also illuminates a decrease in the value of the imports of (11) sectors, starting with the imports of “Construction Materials” with a noticeable decrease to be (731 MDs) in September 2019 compared to (1.089 Milliard Ds) in September 2018 which mean (33% decrease). Then came the imports of “Ready-made Cloths” with value (46 MDS) in September 2019 compared to (63 MDS) in September 2018 (27% decrease). The imports of “Furniture” reached (135 MDs) during September 2019 compared to (181 MDS) in September 2018 (26% decrease), then “Leather, Shoes and leather products” recorded a decrease in its imports with value (15 MDs) in September 2019 versus (20 MDs) (24% decrease) during the same period of the previous year. Then we find a decrease in the imports of “Engineering and Electronic products” to become (1.456 Milliard Ds) in September 2019 compared to (1.890 Milliard Ds) during the same period of the previous year. Followed also by a decrease in the imports of “Handcrafts”, "Fertilizers and chemical products", "Yarn and Textiles", "Food Industries" and "Agriculture Crops"

معامل هيئة الرقابة على الصادرات والواردات تفحص جنوط سيارات هيونداى الاخبار فى إطار التعاون بين جهاز حماية المستهلك وهيئة الرقابة على الصادرات والواردات، وحرصاً على حماية المستهلك المصرى، ونتيجة لعدة شكاوى من مالكى سيارة "هيونداى إلانترا HD". فقد تم الإستعانه بمعامل الهيئه العامه للرقابه على الصادرات والواردات، المعتمدة دوليًا والحاصلة على شهادات (ISO 17025)، "وحرفية الأداء" (PT)، حيث تعتبر معامل الهيئه من المعامل الرائده فى جمهورية مصر العربيه لما تمتلكه من أجهزه ومعدات حديثه وفاحصين مُدَربين على أعلى مستوى. فقد تم تشكيل لجنة متخصصة من خبراء كوريين ومصنعى الجنوط وشركة هيونداى الكورية (الشركة الأم) وشركتى هيونداى مصر وغبور لفحص الجنوط ذات العشرة أضلاع (محل الشكوى) للسيارة "هيونداى إلانترا HD". وبفحص العينات بمعمل الجنوط بالإسكندرية، وبعد العديد من الإختبارات والفحص وجد ان الجنوط غير مطابقة للمواصفات القياسية المصرية. وحرصاً من شركة غبور أوتو على مقتنى سيارات هيونداى إلانترا HD، فقد قامت الشركه بإصدار إعلان بإلزام الشركة بالقيام بحملة إستدعاء وفحص مجانى لتغير الجنوط ذات العشرة أضلاع لموديلات 2017و2018و2019 دون أى تكاليف أو رسوم على العميل.
GOEIC Labs inspected Hyundai rims News In the framework of the cooperation between Consumer Protection Agency and GOEIC, to protect the Egyptian consumer, and due to the many complaints from the owners of "Hyundai Elantra HD". GOEIC Labs have been used to inspect "Hyundai rims", as GOEIC Labs are internationally accredited, certified (ISO 17025) & (PT), and are considered one of the leading laboratories in Arab Republic of Egypt because of its modern equipment and devices, and well trained inspectors. Accordingly, a specialized committee is formed by Korean experts, rims manufacturers, Korean Hyundai "Mother Company", Hyundai Egypt, and Ghabbour Auto, to inspect the 10 sides' rims of "Hyundai Elantra HD Cars". After inspecting the rims samples at "Alexandria Labs", and after many tests of inspection, the rims were not conforming to the Egyptian standard specifications. Consequently, as Ghabour Auto Company is keen on the owners of "Hyundai Elantra HD" cars, the company posted an ad in which they obliged the company itself to make a retrieve campaign for the 10 sides rims as well as carrying out a free inspection for the rims of Hyundai Elantra HD models of 2017,2018,2019 without any required fees.
