Le Conseil National pour l’accréditation (EGAC) a approuvé l’extension du champ d’application de l’accréditation pour l’Unité d’inspection des produits à la(GOEIC) conformément aux exigences de la norme internationale (ISO/IEC 17020:2012).

Dans le cadre des efforts continus de L’ingénieur Général . Essam El-Naggar\ Chef du Conseil d’administration, pour développer les services de l’Autorité, soutenir les exportations et ouvrir de nouveaux marchés pour les exportations égyptiennes, le Conseil National d’Accréditation (EGAC) a accepté d’étendre le champ d’application de l’accréditation pour l’Unité d’inspection des produits à  la (GOEIC)conformément aux exigences de la Norme internationale (ISO/IEC 17020:2012) en ajoutant les éléments suivants :

Cela vient après avoir terminé les visites d’évaluation du Conseil National pour l’Accréditation en août et septembre 2025

L’Unité d’Inspection des produits fournit un service d’inspection aux fabricants, exportateurs, importateurs et autres partout dans le monde. Le périmètre d’accréditation de l’Unité inclut désormais les éléments suivants et cela , après la dernière visite d’évaluation conformément à la Norme internationale (ISO/IEC 17020:2012) :
- Papier et produits en papier.
- Textiles et vêtements de confection.
- Chaussures et articles en cuir.
- Batteries.
- Ustensiles de cuisine et couverts.
- Appareils électroménagers.
-Céramique et marbre
-Eviers de cuisine et produits sanitaires
-Plastiques et produits en plastique
-Horloges

The General Organization for Export and Import Control holds a workshop entitled “Voluntary Carbon and its Relation to Carbon Footprint Specifications.”

Under the direction of Eng. Essam El-Naggar, the General Organization for Export and Import Control held at its Center of Excellence a specialized training workshop on "Voluntary carbon and its Relation to Carbon Footprint Specifications", due to the growing global interest in this field.

The state-of-art global practices in measuring and managing carbon emissions were reviewed linking them to the International Standards ISO 14064 / ISO 14067 / ISO 14040, and discussing as well the strategies for reducing emissions and enhancing competitiveness in global markets.
