Within the directions of minister of trade and industry Dr. Nevein Jamma on the importance of activating cooperation and integration between various state institutions, the General Organization for Export and Import Control and the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute signed a Joint Scientific Cooperation Protocol with a view to integrating efforts and scientific cooperation between the two sides.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Yasser Mustafa, Director of the Institute, and Mr. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GOEIC.
The Protocol includes joint scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise, technical information and areas of chemical analysis of the Commission's samples because the Institute has a lot of human capabilities, practical equipment and scientific expertise that qualifies it to do everything the Commission needs in the field of physical, chemical and mechanical analyses.
This cooperation is an example of complementarity between State institutions and of utilizing the possibilities of different institutions.
The General Organization for Export and Import Control is one of the leading bodies locally and globally providing digital electronic services for all areas of conformity assessment and quality control of goods and services in order to protect Egyptian consumers and enhance competitiveness in global markets.
