Engineer/ Essam El Naggar, receives a high level delegation from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for commencing implementation of the GOEIC's project regarding establishment of "Digital Platform for Risk -Based Inspection and Tracking for facilitating Trade in Egypt"
With a grant up to L.E 700 million funded by the Korean Government, The General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) starts implementing its integrated project for risks management with digital linking of its laboratories network to the laboratories information Management system (LIMS) and the tracking system for monitoring the industrial and non-food products.
The (GOEIC) witnesses a visit payed by a high level delegation from the (KOICA) for implementing the GOEIC's project regarding establishment of "Digital Platform for Risk-based Inspection and Tracking for facilitating Trade in Egypt" during the period from March 9 to March 20, 2025.
Whereas the project will have been implemented during the period from 06/2025 until the end of 2029, and the following components will have been executed:
- Establishment and operation of the digital system for risk-based inspection for industrial and non-food products (e-RBI).
- Establishment and operation of the laboratories information Management system (LIMS).
- Establishment and operation of the digital tracking and monitoring system for industrial and non-food products in the domestic market.
