Eng. /Al-Naggar explained that the Arab countries topped the list of markets receiving Egyptian exports during the period January-July of the current year, amounting to about 8.616 billion dollars Followed by the European Union countries with about 5.972 billion dollars, the United States of America in third place with a value of 1.333 billion dollars, then the African countries in fourth place with a value of 1.255 billion dollars, and for the rest of the countries it amounted to 5.802 billion dollars.
His Excellency indicated that the building materials sector topped the list of exporting sectors during (January-July) with about 5.599 billion dollars, followed by the chemical products and fertilizers sector with about 4.509 billion dollars.In third place is the food industries sector, with a value of about 3.669 billion dollars, and in fourth place is the engineering and electronic goods sector, with a value of 3.098 billion dollars. In fifth place was the agricultural crops sector with a value of about 3.022 billion dollars, followed by the ready-made clothing sector with a value of 1.563 billion dollars, and in seventh place was the spinning and textile sector with a value of 638 million dollars, followed by the medical industries sector with a value of 395 million dollars, followed by the furniture sector with a value of 357 million dollars.
