General Engineer Ismail Gaber, the chairman of GOEIC signed a co-operation protocol with a company specialized in operating financial institutions represented by its chairman and its deputy member, Mr. Ibrahim Sarhan.
Both parts agreed to provide the services through GOEIC electronic gate using the different payment methods and electronic receipt provided by the aforementioned company. The General engineer, Ismail Gaber, declared that the system of automating the payments aims to reduce the cost of cash circulation resulting into facilitating several routine procedures for the citizen besides saving time and efforts.
Also, it provides the data exchange related to GOEIC dues towards the parties involved in the electronic system like banks and national postal authority to enable GOEIC clients to pay the dues electronically through all branches of banks and post offices and different channels of collection.

In the frame of GOEIC caution of tracing imported consignments and conserving the national economy for the country and protecting the Egyptian market. And in implementing the directions of the General engineer, Mr. Ismail Gaber, Goeic chairman to activate Goeic role in the field of tracing the consignments granted a release under custody in its storage places at the importers’ in all Egypt governorates , the central department for industrial imports and the general department of inspection and in the company of the Brigadier,Wael Mohamed Zaki , the region assistant of East Delta , canal and Sinai at the General Administration of Supply Investigations run campaigns to trace these consignments and to what extent they are committed to under custody release conditions.
These campaigns resulted into revealing some Violations in Dakahlia Governorate embodied in squandering some consignments. Consequently the necessary official reports have been filed in order to take the legal measures towards it. These campaigns are still continuing in the rest of governorates in cooperation with all control entities of supply ministry.

In the frame of Goeic caution to match, the international work techniques and the principles of the world trade organization convention and maintain the quality and safety of Egyptian products to compete in the international markets.
A delegation of accreditation of conformity certificates granting unit from GOEIC accompanied by a delegation from the national accreditation council (EGAC) visit KAZAREEN factory for textile to confirm the safety management system of the textile products being one of the levels required to obtain accreditation.
This fruitful co-operation between GOEIC and KAZAREEN factory resulted into the obtainment of GOEIC accreditation unit an accreditation certificate in the field of granting conformity certificates as per the technical Saudi regulation for textile and in conformity with ISO/IEC 17065.
M.G.\ISMAIL GABER the chairman of GOEIC confirmed that GOEIC is eager to communicate permanently with the exporters and importers society in order to inform them the latest services provided by GOEIC in order to facilitate the business community and which help to open new exporting markets towards the Egyptian products in different foreign markets
It is worth saying that GOEIC is considered the only government agency that has been registered at SABER system in the fields of textile and ready- made garments as well as the shoes and leathers products.

Her Highness, the minister of trade and industry, Dr. Neveen Gamea agreed to grant the importers a grace of three months to adjust the special conditions of the ministerial decree numbered 991 of 2015 and to be ended on 17th of August 2021 due to the third wave of corona virus invasion to the majority of countries resulting into the difficulty of issuing pre-shipment inspection certificates.
