The visit of Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of” GOEIC”, to GOEIC branch in Alexandria - the free zone in Amreya

The visit of Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of” GOEIC”, to GOEIC branch in Alexandria - the free zone in Amreya Pursuant to the directives of His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Samir - Minister of Commerce and Industry, the need for the heads of the authorities to be present at the work sites to find out the problems of the public of dealers, including exporters and importers.  Eng. Essam Al-Naggar - Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control visited the GOEIC branch in Alexandria in the free zone in Amreya. He was welcomed by Eng. Hisham Mashhour - Head of the Central Administration of GOEIC branch in Alexandria, Eng. Mina Gamal - Head of GOEIC branch in Al-Amriyah, and Eng. Ayman Abdel Aziz - Head of the Central Administration of the Free Zone in Al-Amreya.  His Excellency held a meeting with all the employees of the branch, listening to all the proposals submitted by his working sons. The tasks assigned to them quickly and accurately, praising their prominent and tangible patriotic role and what he saw within the branch in terms of discipline, enthusiasm and patriotism from all employees. During the visit, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar met with a group of gentlemen exporters, importers and businessmen to discuss the problems they face in reality, and he listened to all the suggestions submitted by them to facilitate the export process.

Chairman of GOEIC receives the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa Eng.Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, received the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa. This visit comes as part of several meetings held by GOEIC with the aim of digitizing and governing conformity assessment procedures using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) application systems within the framework of trade facilitation. Which aims to identify the best international practices applied in this field by reviewing case studies from major international institutions advanced in providing digital solutions and networking systems in order to keep pace with the requirements of the comprehensive strategic plan of the state and implement the directives of the President of the Republic in the governance of ports and accelerate the procedures for assessing conformity in ports for goods As well as tightening control over the circulation, import and export of inferior goods, and to implement international requirements in this field using the latest artificial intelligence application systems. The General Organization for Export and Import Control was represented by: Eng. Aladdin Abdel Wahed - Head of the Central Department of Information Technology. Dr. Sahar Attia - Head of the Central Department of Quality Testing Laboratories for Food and Chemical Commodities. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his happiness with that visit and that the General Organization for Export and Import Control is always ready to provide full support to the businessmen community.
