GOEIC issued a number of (24.742) Certificates of Origin during September 2020 in accordance with the rules of origin protocols applied by the preferential agreements concluded between Egypt and other countries to apply exemptions and customs benefits granted to Egyptian exports, these certificates were among: (The League of Arab States Logo - Bilateral Agreement – COMESA – MERCSOUR – EUR1 – FORM-A – etc.)
GOEIC also verified the origin of exported goods to and from countries with which preferential agreements are concluded with a number of (97) export certificates during the same period.
GOEIC is also following up on the latest executive position concerning the memorandums of understanding signed between Egypt and (Tunisia – Jordan – Kuwait – Saudi Arabia – Lebanon – Sudan – Bahrain – Oman – Somalia & Senegal - Agadir Agreement States) in the field of mutual recognition of Conformity certificates for the industrial (not food) goods.
This and All technical instructions have been provided to the exporters and to respond to their inquiries according to the organizing ministerial decrees for inspection to ensure the quality of Egyptian exports and to raise its competitive ability.

GOEIC announced in its monthly report about the most important (20) industrial items of Egyptian's non-petroleum exports during September 2020 that gold begins the list of these items, then came petrol oil, monitors, wires, and cables, nitrogen fertilizers (Azote), suits and jackets, and postages.
Followed by shirts, propylene polymers, polyacetalate, polyethers, ethylene polymers, then flat products of iron with 600 mm or more, aromatic mixtures, medicine, row Aluminium, bars of iron and steel, and phosphate.
And finally come furniture, pads, baby diapers and building rocks at the end of the list.

GOEIC announced in its monthly report of the most important (20) food items of Egyptian's non-petroleum exports during September 2020 that soybean oil begin the list of these items, then came the sugar cane, fruits and cheese.
Followed by plants and its parts, dry seeds, bakery products, wheat flour, chocolate, frozen vegetables, dates, figs and pineapple, fruits and dry fruits, onion and garlic, then came the prepared or frozen vegetables, orchid roots, and food preparations.
Finally, seeds intended for sowing, animals, pasta, yeasts came at the end of the list.

An increase in the value of Egyptian non-petroleum Exports for (7) Export Councils during September 2020

GOEIC announced in its comparative monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum exports of September 2020 an increase in the value of (7) export councils starting with "Export council of printing, packaging and books " with value (87 MDs) during September 2020 compared to (52 MDs) during the same month of the previous year, i.e. 69% increase. After that came the "Export Council of Building Materials "with value (559 MDs) during September 2020 compared to (417 MDs) in September 2019, i.e. 34% increase.
The “Export Council of Wooden Furniture” recorded an increase in its value to become (24 MDs) during September 2020 verses (19MDs) during the same month of the previous year, i.e. 28% increase. After that come the "Export council of Handmade Industries” with a slight increase to become (21 MDs) during September 2020 verses (19MDs) during September 2019, i.e. 12% increase. Then the “Export Council of Furniture” reached the value of (43 MDs) during September 2020 compared to (40MDs) during the same month of the previous year, i.e. 8%.
Also there’s an increase in the value of “The Export Council of Yarn and Textiles” and “The Export Council of Engineering and Electronic products”.

M.G. Ismael Gaber - Chairman of GOEIC announced that GOEIC had issued its comparative monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum Exports to record the value of (2.149) billion dollars during September 2020
compared to (2.058) billion dollars during September 2019, which mean (92million dollars) increase or (4%)

An increase in the value of Egyptian non-petroleum Exports for (9) Export Councils during August 2020
M.G. Ismael Gaber - Chairman of GOEIC announced that GOEIC had issued its monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum Exports with the value of (1.741) billion dollars during August 2020.
This report also showed an increase in the value of (9) export councils, starting with "Export council of printing, packing, books and works of art " with value (68 MDs) during August 2020 compared to (45 MDs) during the same month of the previous year, i.e. (51%) increase, after that came "Export Council of medical industries "with value (40 MDs) during August 2020 compared to (30 MDs) in August 2019, i.e. (33%) increase.
The “Export Council of handmade industries” recorded an increase in its value to become (16 MDs) during August 2020 compared to (14 MDs) during the same month of the previous year, i.e. (21%) increase. After that came the "Export Council of chemicals & fertilizers" to record (423 MDs) during August 2020 compared to (380 MDs) during August 2019, i.e. (11%) increase.
Then came the "Export council of engineering & electronic products" to record (198 MDs) in August 2020 compared to (184 MDs) during August 2019, i.e. (8%) increase.
There is also an increase in the export councils of "Food industries", "Furniture" and" Yarn and textiles".
