L’Organisation Générale de contrôle des exportations et des importations poursuit son travail de protection du marché égyptien et examine les saisies des gardes-frontières Dans le cadre du souci de G.O.E.I.C de préserver l’économie national et  d’assurer la santé, la sécurité et la qualité des produits importés en  République Arabe d’Egypte, un comité de l’autorité composé : - Ing/ Ahmed Hanafi Ahmed -membre de G.O.E.I.C - Ing/ Abd El Alaa Ahmed Shafei -member de G.O.E.I.C et en coopération avec l’administration des douanes. Où la commission s’est déplacée dans les entrepôts des gardes-frontières à El Almaein pour inspecter et examiner les saisies, qui s’élevaient à21830 cartouches de cigarettes de différents types. GOEIC continues its work to protect the Egyptian market through examining and inspecting the seizures of the border guards forces GOEIC,The Border Guards Forces Within the framework of GOEIC keenness to save the national economy and ensuring the health, safety and quality of the imported products to Arab republic of Egypt, a committee has been formulated from GOEIC to include both:  Engineer: Ahmed Hanafi Ahmed  Engineer: AbdElalaa Ahmed ElShafie  And in cooperation with the customs authority. The committee moved to the border guards forces stores at El Alamein for examining and inspecting the seizures, which are (21,830) cigarette cartridge with different kinds and finally the committee's decision was to reject the seized items because of its nonconformity to the standards specifications. EGAC in a visit to evaluate the unit of conformity certificates issuance for products GOEIC,AFRAC,EGAAC Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC): The visit for the unit of certificates issuance came in conjunction within the activities of the international evaluation visit for EGAC by African accreditation organization (AFRAC). It is an evaluation visit to the Egyptian Accreditation Council to renew the international recognition of the Council. In light of the fruitful communication between the General Organization for Export and Import Control and the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), and over the course of two days, the third visit took place to evaluate the Product Conformity Certificates Unit at the authority’s headquarters on two lists:   Gas home appliances Textile products According to the international standard ISO: 17065 The visit came within the activities of the international recognition of the Egyptian Accreditation Council by the African Accreditation Organization (AFRAC), and the implementation of that visit was monitored by the accreditation organization (ILAC/IAF) through the ZOOM program. GOEIC work team appeared in an honorable way locally and internationally by presenting the procedures and documents for approving the unit and applying the international standard ISO: 17065 and the Saudi technical regulations for products It is worth mentioning that the General Organization for Export and Import Control is the only governmental body approved in the conformity assessment certificate according to the international standard ISO: 17065, which is registered with the Saudi Saber system in the fields of textile industries and ready-made garments, as well as the field of shoes and leather products.
