Chairman of GOEIC receives the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa

Eng.Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, received the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa.

This visit comes as part of several meetings held by GOEIC with the aim of digitizing and governing conformity assessment procedures using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) application systems within the framework of trade facilitation.

Which aims to identify the best international practices applied in this field by reviewing case studies from major international institutions advanced in providing digital solutions and networking systems in order to keep pace with the requirements of the comprehensive strategic plan of the state and implement the directives of the President of the Republic in the governance of ports and accelerate the procedures for assessing conformity in ports for goods As well as tightening control over the circulation, import and export of inferior goods, and to implement international requirements in this field using the latest artificial intelligence application systems.

The General Organization for Export and Import Control was represented by:

Eng. Aladdin Abdel Wahed - Head of the Central Department of Information Technology.

Dr. Sahar Attia - Head of the Central Department of Quality Testing Laboratories for Food and Chemical Commodities.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his happiness with that visit and that the General Organization for Export and Import Control is always ready to provide full support to the businessmen community.
