Arab Republic of Egypt Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade General Organization for Export and Import Control

Within the framework of the policies of Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade aiming at developing human capabilities and in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, to develop training and knowledge-sharing system, the (GOEIC) and the Industrial Development Bank (IDB) have signed a Cooperation Protocol focused in the field of training and capacity building.

signature ceremony was conducted in the presence of Eng. Essam El Naggar, President of the GOEIC; Mis. Menan Awadallah, Vice Executive  President and Managing Director of Industrial Development Bank; and a number of senior officials from both sides.

The Protocol aims to implement training programs, workshops, and specialized seminars on import, export, and financing foreign trade . It also entails leveraging expertise from both parties to present content that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby meeting the needs of employees and clients alike.

The programs are implemented in collaboration with GOEIC’s Center of Excellence through getting the benefit of the training capabilities and specialized expertise of both parties. 

Mr. Hussein Refaie, CEO and Managing Director of the Industrial Development Bank, emphasized that this collaboration supports the efforts of capacity-building and knowledge-transfer by sharing specialized expertise in the design and delivery of training programs.

On his part, Eng. Essam El Naggar confirmed that the protocol marks a significant step toward enhancing the programs offered by the Center of Excellence, thereby contributing to improving efficiency and developing skills for both employees and clients.
