The GOEIC signs a Cooperation Protocol with Property Finder Egypt to support regulation of the real estate brokerage market and build the capacity of those working in the sector.
Within the framework of the State’s direction towards regulating markets and enhancing the efficiency of services, the GOEIC signed a Cooperation Protocol with Property Finder Egypt to implement accredited training programs that qualify real estate brokers to meet the requirements for obtaining professional practice licenses, which supports the professionalism of the sector and enhances confidence in the Real Estate Market.
As a part of the State’s directions towards regulating markets, raising the efficiency of services, building the capabilities of human resources, and in implementation of the policies of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade aimed at strengthening partnership with the Private Sector and supporting the Business Environment, the GOEIC signed a Cooperation Protocol with Property Finder Egypt, with the aim of regulating the real estate brokerage market and qualifying brokers to meet the requirements for obtaining licenses to practice the profession, before the end of the regularizing period during July 2026.
The protocol targets accredited training programs conducted by the GOEIC's Center of Excellence that contribute to raising the efficiency of workers in the real estate brokerage sector, and preparing them to practice the profession in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks, thereby enhancing professionalism and transparency, raising the quality of services provided, and strengthening the confidence of those dealing in the real estate market.
Whereas these training programs include the Legislative Framework regulating the Real Estate Brokerage Profession, Code of Professional Conduct, the basics of drafting contracts, requirements anti-money laundry and counter-terrorism financing, and mechanisms for monitoring suspicious transactions, ensuring that professional practices comply with regulatory requirements and the best accredited practices.
Engineer Essam El Naggar, Chairman of the GOEIC, affirmed that cooperation with the Private Sector represents one of the main pillars for supporting the State’s efforts in regulating the real estate market, raising the efficiency of its workers, and protecting the rights of all stakeholders, noting that investment in training and capacity building is a fundamental pillar for developing professional performance and enhancing compliance with the regulations governing the sector.
On its part, Property Finder Egypt explained that the training programs aim to help its partners and those working in the sector complete the procedures for regularizing their status, meet the requirements for obtaining licenses, and comply with regulatory requirements, which contributes to establishing sound professional practices and enhancing trust and transparency within the real estate brokerage market.
