The General organization for Export and Import Control, headed by Eng./ Essam El-Naggar, succeeded in increasing the number of various laboratories, whether industrial goods laboratories or food commodity laboratories, in addition to chemical laboratories. This is with the aim of facilitating the industrial community and accelerating the release of import and export shipments.
GOEIC report revealed that 10 new laboratories are being launched to analyze industrial goods, including 7 laboratories in the port of Sokhna, Including a water consumption rationalization testing laboratory, a laboratory for home appliances that operate with petroleum products, a laboratory for assistants and quarks, and an electrical safety laboratory. And the electrical plugs and switches factory, the electrical circuit breakers factory, and the optical testing factory. As the report revealed, work was underway to launch two factories in Cairo and a factory in the port of Dekheila.
The report indicated that the number of industrial goods analysis laboratories has increased to 136 laboratories nationwide, distributed between 38 laboratories in Cairo, 12 laboratories in Alexandria , 22 laboratories in Dekheila Port, 14 laboratories in Port Said, 14 in Damietta, 12 laboratories in East Port Said, 22 laboratories in Ain Sokhna, and 2 laboratories in Adabiya.
