Registration and Re-registration in the Registry of Commercial Agents (Advertising and Advertising Activities)

Description

  • The practice of commercial agency activities is not permitted except after registration with GOEIC in accordance with Law 120 of 1982.
  • The Tax Authority issued Circular No. 2 of 2020 regarding the obligation of sponsors and advertising agents to provide evidence of their registration with GOEIC in the registry of commercial agents.
  • Before obtaining the commercial registry or renewing it, it is necessary to obtain a letter from the registry of commercial agents at GOEIC indicating the temporary registration of the establishment in the registry of advertising and advertising agents until the commercial registry is issued.

  1. Before obtaining the commercial registry or renewing it:
    • Documents and initial registration fees are received and paid at the relevant branches of GOEIC in Maarouf, 6th October, Alexandria, Suez, Damietta, Port Said, Zagazig, and the Investors Services Complex at the General Investment Authority.
    • Chambers of Commerce at Bab Al-Luq, Kafr El-Sheikh, Tanta, Alexandria, Damanhour, Arish, Sohag, Assiout, Aswan.
  2. After obtaining the commercial registry or renewing it:
    • Maarouf branch.
