News The General organization for export and import control welcomes the importers who would like to register the producing companies for industrial –non agricultural- products in the list of GOEIC visual inspection according to the article numbered 94 of import legislation numbered 770/2005. GOEIC aims by this move to facilitate and minimize the time and procedures  for  the importers and granting them the privilege of not presenting the pre-shipment inspection certificate prior each consignment according to the decree numbered 961/2012 and 991/2015.

GOEIC is publishing the list of companies that have been warned for the expire quality certificate News With reference to the minister of Trade and Industry decree no.(43)/2016 concerning the amendment of the organizing rules of qualified factories registration to export their products to Egypt. These companies had been given a grace period from 1/10/2019 to 7/10/2019 to renew their quality certificate presented in their files. Accordingly, their ministerial decisions will be suspended starting on 8/10/2019. So, GOEIC calls upon the stakeholders to quickly present the renewed quality certificate during the grace period. Important instructions for issuing pre-shipment inspection certificates Pre-Inspection Companies Requirements for pre-shipment inspection certificates: 1- The pre-shipment inspection certificate should be issued by one of the branches of the registered companies at GOEIC according to the field of accreditation, and the allowed places of inspection. 2- The pre-shipment inspection certificate can be accepted from the branches of the registered companies at GOEIC (each according to its field of accreditation) located outside the exports country, to be documented from Chamber of Commerce, and the Egyptian Embassy in the exports country.   3-       Concerning the food products imported from Europe and Turkey, the pre-shipment inspection certificate can be accepted from one of the branches of inspection companies located in any of the European Union and Turkey and registered at GOEIC (each according to its field of accreditation)   4-       The pre-shipment inspection certificate can be accepted if it is issued by international inspection and auditing companies, and internationally accredited according to the international standard ISO 17020 (each according to its field of accreditation) and not registered at GOEIC, but to be documented from Chamber of Commerce, and the Egyptian Embassy in the exports country.

Followed by Aromatic materials mixtures, Ethylene polymers, the glass fibre, soap and detergents, Polyacetals and polyethyl ethers, Bars and sheets of films and Propylene polymers,  pads and baby diapers, phosphate fertilizers, flat products laminated cylinders 600 mm or more. Then finally carpets, sheets and powder of Aluminium and furniture came at the end of the list.

Followed by dry and fresh grapes, dry cornea, fruits and nuts, other fruits, soybean oil, seeds and food products, black honey, bakery products, fruits juice fresh. Finally, came tobacco, dates, figs and pineapple, prepared frozen and not frozen vegetables at the end of the list.
