GOEIC issued a statement of the most important country groups for the Egyptian non-petroleum exports during January 2020, where it came at the beginning the value of Egypt's exports of the "States of the Arab League" to be (762 million dollars).
Followed by the group of the "European Union states" with value (709 million dollars), then come "the rest of world countries" with value (553 million dollars), after that the “United States of America" with value (132 million dollars) ,and then the group of "African States" (without Arab states) with value (118 million dollars).

M.G. Ismael Gaber - Chairman of GOEIC announced that GOEIC had issued its comparative monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum imports which showed adecrease in the Egyptian non- petroleum imports with value (1.629) billion dollars, which mean (27%) compared to January2019, where the value of the Egyptian non- petroleum imports during January 2020 reached (4.401) billion dollars versus (6.031) billion dollars during January 2019.
The report also illuminates a decrease in the value of the imports of (12) sectors, starting with the imports of “Medical Industries” with value (99 MDs) in January 2020 compared to (276MDs) in January 2019 which is (64%) decrease. Then came the imports of "Building materials” with value (622 MDS) in January 2020 compared to (1.074 MDS) in January 2019 which is (42%) decrease.
The imports of “Furnishings” reached (8 MDs) in January 2020 compared to (12 MDs) in January 2019 which is (35%) decrease, the” Handmade Industries” recorded decreasing in its imports with value (20 MDs) in January2020 versus (29 MDS) during the same period of the previous year which is (31%) decrease, then came the imports of “Chemical products and Fertilizers” to become (667 MDs) in January 2020 compared to (948 MDs) during January 2019 which is (30%) decrease.
Followed by the decrease in the imports of “leather and shoes”, “Engineering and electronic products”, “Printing, packaging, paper and books”, “food industries”, ”Yarn and Textiles” and “ Readymade clothes”.

1- Participation in the supreme committee meeting to organize and export potatoes - on January 28, 2020
2- Organizing and holding a meeting concerning the World Bank visit to GOEIC to organize a workshop to discuss the situation of Egypt in Trade Facilitation Agreement within the framework of World Trade Organization – at GOEIC on January 13, 2020.
3- Participation in the meeting of Trade Facilitation concerning the World Bank visit to organize a workshop to discuss the situation of Egypt in Trade Facilitation Agreement within the framework of World Trade Organization – at Trade Agreements Sector on January 22, 2020.
4- Organizing and holding a meeting concerning the delegation of the technical unit of Aghadeer Agreement – at GOEIC on January 27, 2020.
