In the frame work of GOEIC's caution to remove all obstacles which hurdle the trade movement towards business society and to facilitate the foreign trade movement, Engineer/ Essam Elnaggar, chairman of GOEIC, received the Dutch delegation represented by Mr. Eng./Melle Leenstra at the Agricultural Consul of the Holland embassy and Mr./Omar Abdellatif the agricultural consultant at the Holland embassy- Cairo.
The Meeting included the following꞉-
The discussion concerning the facilities that are provided from GOEIC to the business community of the exporters in Holland when exporting their exports to Egyptian Arabic Republic.
The Delegation inform questions about the quality certificate required for registration according to the ministerial decree no. 43/2016 Especially for Dutch companies working in the manufacture of food and agricultural products that have IFS and BRC quality certificates. Eng./ Essam Elnaggar - Chairman of GOEIC confirmed that the quality certificates that are accepted according to the Ministerial Decree No. 43 are the quality certificates that are approved by the international accreditation bodies ILAC or IAF.
The Dutch delegation wondered about how to inquire the companies that have been warned or suspended according to the ministerial decree no 43/2016. He answered that there is a list with companies' names that don't meet the ministerial decree requirements published on the website of GOEIC periodically with the three languages (Arabic-English-French). In addition, that the website should be monitored to find out the status of the companies registered in the ministerial decision.
At the end of the meeting, he expressed his pleasure as per the delegation's visit and expressed that GOEIC is always ready to provide its full support to the business community.

General Organization for Export and Import Control signing a cooperation protocol with the Chamber of Commerce of the Qalubiah Governorate
According to the guidance of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Ms. Nevein Jamma , the cooperation between the Ministry's agencies is important in order to facilitate access to different services for its customers to save both time and effort.
Eng. Al-Najjar, President of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, and Mr. Dr. Mohamed Al-Fiomi, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Al-Qalubia Governorate, signed a joint cooperation protocol together.
According to this Protocol, the Chamber of Commerce in Al Qalubia Governorate provides the registration service in the followings:
(The Register of Exporters, the Register of Importers, the Register of Real Estate Brokers and the Register of Advertising Agents).
Eng. Essam Al-Najjar indicated that this step is among a package of actions that the General Organization for Export and Import Control was aimed to take in order to facilitate access to its services which is provided to its clients.
