GOIEC signs a joint scientific cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute
Within the directions of minister of trade and industry Dr. Nevein Jamma on the importance of activating cooperation and integration between various state institutions,the General Organization for Export and Import Control and the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute signed a Joint Scientific Cooperation Protocol with a view to integrating efforts and scientific cooperation between the two sides.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Yasser Mustafa, Director of the Institute, and Mr. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GOEIC.
The Protocol includes joint scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise, technical information and areas of chemical analysis of the Commission's samples because the Institute has a lot of human capabilities, practical equipment and scientific expertise that qualifies it to do everything the Commission needs in the field of physical, chemical and mechanical analyses.
This cooperation is an example of complementarity between State institutions and of utilizing the possibilities of different institutions.
The General Organization for Export and Import Control is one of the leading bodies locally and globally providing digital electronic services for all areas of conformity assessment and quality control of goods and services in order to protect Egyptian consumers and enhance competitiveness in global markets.
At the conclusion of the Protocol's signing events, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar and Dr. Yasser Mustafa exchanged memorial shields.

The General Organization for Export and Import Control headed by Eng./Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control with the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo under the chairmanship of Engineer Ibrahim Al-Arabi, President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce. This cooperation aims at transferring expertise, exchanging information and holding induction seminars on the work of the GOEIC.
In the presence of a number of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, among them "Ahmed Al-Wasimi - First Vice President of the Chamber and Engineer Sameh Zaki - Second Vice President of the Chamber and members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber Dr. Lily Al-Bailey, Ashraf Khadr, Ihab Saeed and Mohamed Mehran.
General / Essam Al-Naggar pointed out that the protocol comes within the framework of the efforts of the GOEIC to develop exports and help exporters to open new markets for Egyptian products in accordance with the directives of Dr. Nevein Jamme, Minister of Trade and Industry to achieve greater communication between the ministry's organs and the business community with a view to upgrading Egyptian industry and increasing export rates.

After being reconstituted by decision of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's main anti-corruption committee will hold its second meeting at the headquarters of the General Organization of Export and Import Control.
This morning, the second meeting of the Main Anti-Corruption Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Industry was held under the chairmanship of Major General- Ehab as Assistant Secretary of the Minister for Technical Affairs in the presence of members of the Committee at the headquarters of the General Organization for Export and Import Control.
The Commission reviewed the Commission's objectives and work plan for the next phase as part of the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy.
Ms. Nevein Jama, Minister of Commerce and Industry No. 244 of 2022, has been issued to form the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's main anti-corruption committee, which includes leaders and representatives of all agencies of the Ministry.
