In the light of the continuinty of joint cooperation between General Organization of Export and Import Control and the business community of brotherly countries, Aiming to provid all possible facilities and removing all obstacles that may hurdle trade movement between them.
Eng/ Essam Al-Naggar Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control received today, the economic Counsellor to the Embassy of Jordan :
- Mr.Mohand Yahya Al-khash
- Mrs Heba Al-Tahly.
Eng./ Essam Al-Naggar responded to all of the Jordanian delegation's questions regarding Ministerial Decree no. 43 of 2016 concerning the registration of factories and trademarks in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He asserts that the dates for the renewal of quality certificates should be followed up so that factories and companies would not be subject to suspension. He also stressed to the companies to follow up the website of the General Organization of the Export and Import Control periodically to review their position.
At the end of the meeting , Eng/Essam Elnaggar expressed his pleasure and gratitude as per the delegation's visit and stressed that GOEIC is always ready to provide its full support to the business Jordanian community.

GOEIC holds a meeting with the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo
In the frame work of GOEIC's caution to remove all obstacles which hurdle the trade movement towards business society and to facilitate the foreign trade movement, Engineer/ Essam Elnaggar, chairman of GOEIC, meet today both:-
Mr. Keith Kirkham - Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs of the American Embassy
Ms. Rania Majdi Mikhail - Commercial Specialist at the Embassy of the United States of America
The discussion between the two parties was about the facilities provided by the General Organization for Export and Import Control to the business community of American exporters. In response to Mr. Keith Kirkham query, Mr. Engineer/Essam Al-Naggar reported that some of the companies registered with the industrial registry in the Arab Republic of Egypt had been suspended according to the expiration of the quality certificate. He stressed that the registration date for the quality certificate should be followed up and renewed in order to avoid the suspension of registered factories and trademarks. In addition, he added that the Ministerial Decree No.43 of 2016 is important for ensuring the quality of the products that are received in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He also referred to the importance of monitoring the website of the General organization for Export and Import Control periodically as the lists of suspended companies are published on the website of the General Organization for Export and Import Control with the three languages. At the end of the meeting the two parts agree on the necessary of joint cooperation between them and Also Engineer/Esam Elnagar expressed his pleasure as per the delegation's visit and stressed that GOEIC is always ready to provide its full support to the business community.

At the direction of Mr. Eng. Essam Al-Najjar, Chairman of The General Organization for Export and Import Control ,ِ a training course is held on the general requirements of the competence of ISO/ICE 17025:2017 testing and calibration laboratories , in cooperation with the Egyptian Accreditation Council EGAC, at its headquarters in Cairo International on Sunday 20-3-2022. Discuss the course the Chemical /Rasha Mostafa Al- Nimaky- The Director of Quality of the Central Department of Chemical and Food Laboratories. The examining trainees attended the training course from various branches of The General Organization for Export and Import Control. The course included the introduction of ISO/17025:2017 and the requirements of the Quality Management System in the field of calibration, testing and eight specification Items.( Scope - Normative references - General requirements - Structural requirements – Process requirements - Resource requirements - Management system requirements) Finally, ISO/ICE 17025:2017 aims to establish the foundations and standards for building a quality system for measurement and calibration laboratories to improve and demonstrate their ability to provide assured, accurate and recognized measurement and calibration results and the ISO/17025:2017 internationally recognized as an international standard in different countries.
