The General Organization for Export and Import Control participates in the 6th International Festival of Dates.
At the direction of Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, Eng. Hisham Mahfouz, Chairman of the ASWAN Branch and Gentlemen Examining Food and Chemical Factories and the services provided to exporters.
Eng. Hisham Mahfouz, Head of the ASWAN Branch, reviewed the services provided by GOEIC for the development of dates exports in terms of:
the laboratories of the branch with the latest pesticide residue, fungal toxins, heavy metals, microbiology and chemical examinations.
Issuance of pre-inspection certificates for exported date shipments in accordance with the legislation of the importing countries.
Helping timers reduce export time from Upper Egypt.
Issuance of export certificates of origin in accordance with preferential trade trade agreements.
Certification of the operation of the Commercial Registration Department of the Aswan branch.

Opening of the food and chemical factories of GOEIC in the port of Aswan
Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, inaugurated the food and chemical factories in the port of Aswan
As part of the implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Republic, to establish central laboratories in the ports pivotal to speed up the procedures for the customs release of all goods and the decisions of the Prime Minister in this regard and the ongoing follow-up by Eng. Ahmed Samir, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, opened the laboratories of the Food and Chemical of GOEIC in the branch of the port of Aswan, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the most important of which is the pesticide, fungal toxins, heavy metals, microbiology and chemical tests, which help to reduce the time of shipment release and assist exporters from Upper Egypt.
Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, stated that the lab is one of the largest laboratories in Egypt and includes a selection of cadres and an integrated team of the best expertise and highly trained on the latest techniques used to detect and estimate pesticide residues in food. Egyptian exports of fresh and manufactured foodstuffs are also examined and analyzed to ensure that they conform to international standards. The method of analysis also includes all chemical collections of pesticides such as phosphorous chlorine compounds, nitrogen, carbamate, perotherides, and dai Theo carbamate etc.
Technical competency tests have been passed in most areas of mycotoxins.
