Chairman of GOEIC receives the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa Eng.Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, received the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa. This visit comes as part of several meetings held by GOEIC with the aim of digitizing and governing conformity assessment procedures using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) application systems within the framework of trade facilitation. Which aims to identify the best international practices applied in this field by reviewing case studies from major international institutions advanced in providing digital solutions and networking systems in order to keep pace with the requirements of the comprehensive strategic plan of the state and implement the directives of the President of the Republic in the governance of ports and accelerate the procedures for assessing conformity in ports for goods As well as tightening control over the circulation, import and export of inferior goods, and to implement international requirements in this field using the latest artificial intelligence application systems. The General Organization for Export and Import Control was represented by: Eng. Aladdin Abdel Wahed - Head of the Central Department of Information Technology. Dr. Sahar Attia - Head of the Central Department of Quality Testing Laboratories for Food and Chemical Commodities. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency expressed his happiness with that visit and that the General Organization for Export and Import Control is always ready to provide full support to the businessmen community.

GOEIC receives a delegation from Cornal Lab Company for Chemicals and Lab Supplies Pursuant to the directives of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Eng. Ahmed Samir, to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry's bodies and the private sector, the General organization for Export and Import Control, headed by Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, received a delegation from Cornall Lab Company for Chemicals and Factory Supplies to display the products of the Spanish Company. The delegation was accompanied by a team from the Spanish company Tenokroma consisting of: -Mr. Francesc  -Ms. Gemma They showcased all the company's products of accessories for chromatographic separation devices such as gas separation and liquid separation. Chairman of GOEIC receives a delegation from the international company Michelin to learn about the methods and specifications of tire tests in GOEIC laboratories At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, welcomed the delegation members of Michelin Company, headed by Mr. Anil Fernandes, Regional Director for the Middle East for Sales, and Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud, Sales Manager of Michelin-Egypt, and the guests representing import and export companies. Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud, sales manager of Michelin-Egypt, presented an introduction to the Michelin group, quality certificates, tire tests, and the developments that have taken place so far, reviewing the company's sales volume, manufacturing locations, and dealing volume in the Egyptian market. Mr. Anil Fernandes gave a speech on the development and manufacture of tires at Michelin. Also, a discussion was held with GOEIC engineers about the methods of issuing E-mark certificates, and finding out the latest updates regarding the E2 certificates in the French government, in addition to discussing the quality methods used in Michelin factories, and the specifications and quality certificates for electric train tires. At the end of the meeting, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar thanked the Michelin delegation and the guests and attendees from the Central Administration for Industrial Imports and the Central Administration for Industrial Laboratories.
