The General Organization for Export and Import Control, the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES), in cooperation with the Trade Reform and Export Development Project of the US Agency for International Development (USAID TRADE), is participating in a series of seminars entitled Documenting the life cycle of the import and export process for a group of products in Egypt, and tracking and documenting the life cycle of the import and export process for a group of products in Egypt. The import and export business life for a group of products belonging to 6 different sectors, starting from contracting, passing through customs clearance and shipping, all the way to settling all financial transactions, whether between the parties to the commercial process with each other or with the government (temporary permission - export support).

At the General Organization for Export and Import Control, attending conference sessions and discussion sessions.
The results of these studies will be presented during the workshops held on (March 12/13/15, 2023) and will be concluded with a round discussion on (May 8, 2023) attended by all concerned parties, led by the business community and representatives of the Egyptian government, to agree on a specific executive action program to reform the system in a sustainable manner.

Chairman of GOEIC receives the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa
Eng.Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, received the team work of Yokogawa Company in the Middle East and Africa.
This visit comes as part of several meetings held by GOEIC with the aim of digitizing and governing conformity assessment procedures using the latest artificial intelligence (AI) application systems within the framework of trade facilitation.
Which aims to identify the best international practices applied in this field by reviewing case studies from major international institutions advanced in providing digital solutions and networking systems in order to keep pace with the requirements of the comprehensive strategic plan of the state and implement the directives of the President of the Republic in the governance of ports and accelerate the procedures for assessing conformity in ports for goods As well as tightening control over the circulation, import and export of inferior goods, and to implement international requirements in this field using the latest artificial intelligence application systems.
