In the frame work of GOEIC's caution to remove all obstacles which hurdle the trade movement towards business society and to facilitate the foreign trade movement, Eng. Essam El Naggar, chairman of GOEIC, received Delegation from the Embassy of Brazil at GOEIC.
The delegation included:

· Antonio Lopes – Regional Manager for middle east office
· Hatem Ahmed Farrag – Technical Assistant to the Agriculture Attaché
Eng. Essam Al-Naggar reviewed the functions of the General Organization for Export and Import Control and the regulatory role entrusted to him and the procedures and assistance that can be obtained by Brazilian investors in Egypt through the activities and work of GOEIC.
The Brazilian delegation enquired about the terms of import and export in Egypt and how to make possible use of Egyptian trade agreements to facilitate Egypt's trade and investment process.
The meeting included the following ꞉ -
· Discussion on the facilities provided by the General Organization for Export and Import Control to the business community from exporters in the State of Brazil in case of export of their products to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
· Certificates of quality required for registration in the factories' register "Ministerial Decree No. 43 of 2016", particularly for Brazilian companies that manufacture quality certified foodstuffs and agricultural products quality certificates accepted under Ministerial Decree No. 43 are certified by the international accreditation bodies ILAC or IAF.
· The Brazilian delegation asked how to inquire about Brazilian companies in accordance with Ministerial Decree No. 43/2016 and how to register and the required documents? and Mr. Eng/Essam Al-Naggar stated that they should be reviewed on GOEIC website, where they are translated in the three languages (Arabic/English/French) ,His Excellency noted the need to follow up the website of the General Organization for Export and Import Control to know the position of companies registered with the ministerial decree No. and that registration is done through the factories registration unit at GOEIC headquarters through a commissioner or a client of the company entrusted with the registration.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, expressed his pleasure at visiting the Brazilian delegation and that GOEIC is always ready to provide full support to the business community.
