The workshop covered a plenary session on Project 1.7 on Trade in Value Added (TIVA) and related indicators such as Trade in Labor (TIM) or Trade in Carbon Dioxide (CO2) indicators.
It is worth noting that this Egyptian regional program is a major source of information, practices and guidance aimed at designing and directing structural reforms to successfully address Egypt’s main economic priorities and it will also enable the country to move towards closer alignment with OECD standards, and will serve as guidance for the implementation of “Egypt Vision 2030.” It is a sustainable development strategy that was recently amended. To this extent and in line with these priorities, the regional program will be based on five pillars , Among these five pillars, the program includes a list of 35 projects as well as coordination functions to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the regional programme.
