Service description
In order to save time and facilitate the course of procedures for commercial customers, this service allows them to submit an application for analyzing samples representing imports and exports of food commodities to GOEIC using the online portal and it aims to provide a mechanism for the process of submitting such application, which will save time spent on the service.
Providers of Service
Quality test laboratories for food commodities in branches of Alexandria, Cairo Airport, Port Said, Damietta, Suez and Aswan.
Place of Service
Food laboratories at ports and all customs points and branches of GOEIC
Requirements of Service
· The customer must have an active e-services account on the online portal.
· The procedure must be completed within 15 days of the date submitting the application on the portal.
Required documents
· Number of Egyptian standard specification for the product to be analyzed or a composition statement in the absence of a standard.
Procedures of Service
1. Applying the Egyptian or the global standard specifications on commodities received by laboratories or contracted samples.
