Founded in 1980, Shenzhen Academy of Metrology & Quality Inspection (SMQ) is an all-round technical service institute rooted in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, with branches across the Greater Bay Area and Yangtze River Delta. It integrates metrology, standardization, inspection, testing and certification into an all-in-one quality service system to deliver full-chain technical solutions for industrial clients. 

SMQ runs 8 lab bases across Shenzhen, Dongguan, Shaoxing and Shanghai, covering over 115,000㎡ with 33,000 sets of testing equipment. Its 2,700-strong team includes nearly 500 postgraduates and senior specialists. Boasting 13 national and 43 provincial public service platforms
