Chairman of GOEIC on his inspection visit to the branches of GOEIC in the seaports of Alexandria and Sokhna As part of the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the instructions of Eng. Ahmed Samir, Minister of Commerce and Industry to facilitate inspection services, speed of completion and work performance and reduce the time of customs release in order to support the movement of foreign trade and solve the problems of production supplies in factories and companies. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, visited the branchs of GOEIC in Alexandria and Sokhna Port to ensure that the instructions he issued were implemented throughout the day and the shifts system to expedite the release of goods and solve the problems of production requirements in factories and companies. Al-Naggar noted that GOEIC keenness to conduct the various inspections and tests with high quality and in the least possible time to ensure that samples comply with standard specifications of health, safety and Security in order to finish the work quickly and accurately. He was also keen on being present with the workers, raising morale, and congratulating them on the new year, and asking them, during the current stage, to unite the efforts of all GOEIC employees to keep pace with the great developments taking place in the Egyptian and global economy.

GOEIC holds a seminar entitled "Role of the General Organization for Export and Import Control in the inspection of electrical goods" with Siraj company and companies importing electrical goods Pursuant to the directives of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Eng. Ahmed Samir, to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry's bodies and the private sector, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, held A seminar entitled “Role of the General Organization for Export and Import Control to inspect electrical goods with Seraj and leading companies in the import of electrical goods”. His Excellency received Eng. Nabil Yusuf Abdullah, Chairman of Seraj Company. and other importing companies for electrical goods. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar reviewed the history of GOEIC and the laws governing it and presented the achievements of GOEIC in 2022. Also presentation was represented of electrical goods Laboratories, certified tests and standard specifications for all items. The seminar was attended by a number of specialists in the inspection of electrical goods in GOEIC and various branches. All inquiries were answered by the members of Siraj and the companies importing electrical goods. At the end of the seminar, Naggar affirmed his desire to remove all obstacles to facilitate the movement of trade and support importers. He thanked all attendees and affirmed that he would study all proposals made by importers.
