A strong start for the first preparatory session of Akhbar El-Youm Economic Conference in the attendance of Chairman of the GOEIC.

Major General/ Essam El Naggar, Chairman of the GOEIC praised the keenness of Akhbar El Youm for launching its Economic Conference in its 11^th Session and he praised as well its fruitful sessions either the preparatory session or during the main events.

He noted that the Egyptian exports achieved a growth of more than (36) billion dollars during the last eleven months, and this means there is an increase of (4) billion dollars compared to the same period of the last year and they may reach (40) billion dollars by the end of the year, according the plan of action set by government.  

El Naggar indicated that the private Sector is a partner in development processes and a lot of procedures were adopted in this regard. 

He also confirmed there is a quantum leap in the customs release time after a chain of quick measures that achieved extremely positive outcomes and a decrease in the customs release time and documentary audits and saving million dollars that were registered as delay penalties and demurrage charges.
