Ismael Gaber - Chairman of GOEIC announced that GOEIC had issued its comparative monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum exports which showed an increase in the value of (5) export councils starting with 'Export Council of Medical Industries' with value (45 MDs) in May 2019 compared to (41MDs) in May 2018. Then came 'Export Council of Engineering and Electric Products' with value (206 MDs) in May 2019 compared to (202MDs) in May 2018. Followed by 'Export Council of Food Industries' with value (283 MDs) compared to (259 MDs) of the previous year. 'Export Council of Furniture' recorded a value of (43.447 MDs) in May 2019 compared to (43.348 MDs) in May 2018, and at the end came ' Export Council of Ready-made Cloths' with value (133 MDs) compared to (130 MDs) in May last year.

Including (5746) trainees of Importers at 'Practicing Importation' program through (140) programs from August 6th 2017 to June 30th 2019, and (197) trainees of Exporters at 'Practicing Exportation' program through (10) programs from October 28th 2018 to June 30th 2019. In addition to training a number of (548) trainees of non-employees also at 'Wheat Inspection' program through (22) programs from January 1st 2018 to May 13th 2019.

Followed by wires, insulated cables, thin flat products, Ethylene polymers, Propylene polymers, T-shirts, Polyacetals and polyethyl ethers. After that came bars, sheets, films, furniture, sticks formed as cylinder, and glass fibre. Then, at the end of the list came building stones, medicine, Phenyl chloride polymers, and finally pads and baby diapers.

Followed by cooked and uncooked vegetables, starch Industries residues, chocolates, plants and its parts, fruits juice, fresh apricot, cherries, peach, plum. News GOEIC announced in its monthly report of Egypt's non-petroleum exports during May 2019, the increase of the total value of Egypt's non-petroleum exports to become (2.287) billion dollars versus (2.243) billion dollars during May 2018 with an increase of (44) million dollars equals (2%). This report also showed that the value of Egypt's non-petroleum industrial exports during May 2019 is (1.781) billion dollars, while the value of Egypt's non-petroleum food exports is (506) million dollars.
