Issuing a number of (35.351) Certificates of Origin during February 2020 News GOEIC issued a number of (35351) Certificates of Origin during February 2020 in accordance with the rules of origin protocols applied by the preferential agreements concluded between Egypt and other countries to apply exemptions and customs benefits granted to Egyptian exports, these certificates were among: (The League of Arab States Logo - Bilateral Agreement – COMESA – MERCSOUR – EUR1 – FORMA-A – etc.) GOEIC also verified the origin of exported goods to and from countries with which preferential agreements are concluded with a number of (171) export certificates, and (1) import certificate. In addition to what GOEIC do in examining the notifications from the European Union's rapid alert unit, and the notifications from the rest of the world countries concerning the rejected shipments, and the necessary procedures were taken. GOEIC is also following up on the latest executive position concerning the memorandums of understanding signed between Egypt and (Tunisia – Jordan – Kuwait – Saudi Arabia – Lebanon – Sudan – Bahrain – Oman – Somalia & Senegal - Agadir Agreement States) in the field of mutual recognition of Conformity certificates for the industrial (not food) goods.
An increase in the value of Egyptian non-petroleum Exports for (4) Export Councils during February 2020 News GOEIC announced in its comparative monthly report for the Egyptian non-petroleum exports of February 2020 an increase in the value of (4) export councils starting with "Export council of Handcraft industries" with value (19 MDs) during February2020 compared to (16MDs) during the same month of the previous year, after that came "Export Council of building materials "with value (513 MDs) during February2020 compared to (456MDs) in February 2019. The “Export Council of Engineering and Electronic products” recorded an increase in its value to become (197MDs) during February2020 verses (184MDs) during the same month of the previous year. After that came the "Export council of Yarn and Textile” to record (70 MDs) during February2020 verses (69MDs) during February2019.
(55) Million Dollars increase in the value of Egypt's non-petroleum exports during February 2020 compared to February 2019, which mean (2%) increase. News M.G. Ismael Gaber – Chairman of GOEIC announced that in our monthly report of February 2020, there is an increase of the total value of Egypt's non-petroleum exports to become (2.206) billion dollars versus (2.151) billion dollars during February 2019 with an increase of (55) million dollars, (2.56%) increase. This report also shows that the total value of Egypt's non-petroleum exports of the industrial products reached (1.708) billion dollars, while the total value of Egypt's non-petroleum exports of food products reached (540) million dollars during February 2020.

Followed by Ethylene polymers, T-shirts, flat products laminated cylinders 600 mm or more, Polyacetals and polyethyl ethers, Propylene polymers, phosphates, cotton, glass fibres, pads, baby diapers and carpets. And finally, Bars and sheets of films, furniture and its parts, and building stones came at the end of the list.

Followed by onion, garlic, wheat flour, soybean oil, cheese, fresh and cooled potato, prepared vegetables, dates, figs and pineapple. Then come fruits, sugar cane, plants and its parts, yeasts, dry beans and bakery. Finally, frozen fruits and vegetables, fresh vegetables, and tobacco came at the end of the list.
