GOEIC held a meeting with the members of the American Chamber of Commerce News Tax and Customs Committee held a seminar at the American Chamber of Commerce concerning "The updates of Trade Facilitation Process" with the presence of MG. Ismael Gaber Chairman of GOEIC, and the Chamber Members where they discussed the role of GOEIC in facilitating Foreign Trade, and implementation mechanisms of the one-window system to reduce the procedures and time of the customs release of the shipment. He also explained that GOEIC is continuously developing the industrial and food labs in all its ports and branches which contribute in increasing exports.

In co-operation with Ministry of Investment, and for more facilitation for the exporters: we started receiving and inserting statistical forms, and issuing Certificates of Origin inside the Free zone – Nassr City News Because one of its top priorities is enhancing and encouraging Egyptian Exports, and facilitating the procedures of Certificates of Origin for the investors at the Free Zone – Nassr City GOEIC, in co-operation with Ministry of Investment, started receiving and inserting statistical forms, in addition to issuing Certificates of Origin (with all its types) for the exported goods inside the Free zone – Nassr City at the Investors Services Center starting on the 1st of April 2019.
