Goeic traces imported goods into Egyptian markets GOEIC,Supply Investigations In the frame of GOEIC caution of tracing imported consignments and conserving the national economy for the country and protecting the Egyptian market. And in implementing the directions of the General engineer, Mr. Ismail Gaber, Goeic chairman to activate Goeic role in the field of tracing the consignments granted a release under custody in its storage places at the importers’ in all Egypt governorates , the central department for industrial imports and the general department of inspection and in the company of the Brigadier,Wael Mohamed Zaki , the region assistant of East Delta , canal and Sinai at the General Administration of Supply Investigations run campaigns to trace these consignments and to what extent they are committed to under custody release conditions. These campaigns resulted into revealing some Violations in Dakahlia Governorate embodied in squandering some consignments. Consequently the necessary official reports have been filed in order to take the legal measures towards it. These campaigns are still continuing in the rest of governorates in cooperation with all control entities of supply ministry.
A visit to kazareen factory GOEIC,EGAC,kazareen In the frame of Goeic caution to match, the international work techniques and the principles of the world trade organization convention and maintain the quality and safety of Egyptian products to compete in the international markets. A delegation of accreditation of conformity certificates granting unit from GOEIC accompanied by a delegation from the national accreditation council (EGAC) visit KAZAREEN factory for textile to confirm the safety management system of the textile products being one of the levels required to obtain accreditation. This fruitful co-operation between GOEIC and KAZAREEN factory resulted into the obtainment of GOEIC accreditation unit an accreditation certificate in the field of granting conformity certificates as per the technical Saudi regulation for textile and in conformity with ISO/IEC 17065. M.G.\ISMAIL GABER the chairman of GOEIC confirmed that GOEIC is eager to communicate permanently with the exporters and importers society in order to inform them the latest services provided by GOEIC in order to facilitate the business community and which help to open new exporting markets towards the Egyptian products in different foreign markets It is worth saying that GOEIC is considered the only government agency that has been registered at SABER system in the fields of textile and ready- made garments as well as the shoes and leathers products.
The minister of trade and industry grants the importers a grace for adjustment GOEIC,importers registr Her highness, the Minister of Trade and Industry, grants the importers a grace of three months to adjust their status In light of the continuity of the Egyptian state to adopt plans and programs to compensate the losses caused by the new Corona virus and to facilitate the treatments and procedures carried out by different entities especially the private sector that has been indirectly damaged by the effects of that pandemic. Her Highness, the minister of trade and industry, Dr. Neveen Gamea agreed to grant the importers a grace of three months to adjust the special conditions of the ministerial decree numbered 991 of 2015 and to be ended on 17th of August 2021 due to the third wave of corona virus invasion to the majority of countries resulting into the difficulty of issuing pre-shipment inspection certificates.
Renewal of accreditation of conformity certificates granting unit at GOEIC GOEIC,EGAC The Egyptian national accreditation council (EGAC) agreed to extend the accreditation scope to the conformity certificates granting unit at GOEIC In the framework of the efforts of GOEIC to develop exports and assist the exporters to open new markets to the Egyptian products. In implementation of the directions of Dr. Neven Gamea the minister of trade and industry to achieve more communication between the ministry entities and business community in order to promote the Egyptian industry and increase export rates. It has been approved from the national accreditation council (EGAC) to extend the accreditation scope to the conformity certificates granting unit at GOEIC (airport branch)in the fields of textile products and domestic cookers appliances that work by gas according to the requirements of the international standard 17065\2012 ISO\IEC. Also, the council allows the unit at Goeic to use the logo of (EGAC) according to the council work rules (R4G) M.G.\ISMAIL GABER the chairman of GOEIC confirmed that GOEIC is eager to communicate permanently with the exporters and importers society in order to inform them the latest services provided by GOEIC in order to facilitate the business community and which help to open new exporting markets towards the Egyptian products in different foreign markets It is worth saying that GOEIC is considered the only government agency that has been registered at SABER system in the fields of textile and ready- made garments as well as the shoes and leathers products ‘
GOEIC held a seminar to introduce the pre-registration shipments system ACI GOEIC,ACI Within the framework of mutual cooperation and coordination between GOEIC and the Egyptian company for electronic trade technology (MTS). M.G./Ismail Gaber invited to hold a joint seminar at (the headquarters of the organization in Cairo airport) to explain and clarify the pre-registration shipments system (ACI) which provide the data and the documents of shipment before shipment by (48) hours at least, in order for the concerned organizations to monitor any danger to the country through the risk management system. The seminar was presented by: -Engineer: Ahmed Elroby- project manager (ACI) -Engineer: Mohamed Rabea-application manager at (MTS) Company They answer all inquiries which related to the new system and clarify that the application of the pre-registration shipment system (ACI) will be in two stages: First stage: the experimental operation from the first of April 2021. Second stage: the mandatory operation from the first of July 2021. He confirmed that the pre-registration shipment system aimed to protect the Egyptian citizen from the anonymous goods and it works to reduce the release time, hence the cost of releasing the goods.
