To all producers and importers of electric motors due to the implementation of decision No. 463/2020, amended by decision 474 /2020

We note that as from 1/5/2022 electrical engines must be required to conform to the Egyptian standard specifications for Egyptian energy levels.

Producers and importers must observe that it conforms to the Egyptian standard specifications for the levels of motive energy (No.2623-2017/1) Electrical machines, part three, efficiency degrees and) No.2623-2015/1 (energy efficiency, And producers and importers are obligated to install a special data plate for each engine in a visible place, while adhering to all the required data on the data plate (ICODE) in accordance with Egyptian Standard Specifications )No.82628-2019/1(, and announcing the degree of energy efficiency.
