Eng. Essam Al-Naggar Chairman of GOEIC opens the latest chemical testing laboratories in the branch of the GOEIC in Nuweiba

Pursuant to the directives of the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control opens the latest chemical testing laboratories in the port of Nuweiba.

Eng. Essam Al-Naggar: The laboratories are equipped with the latest rapid inspection equipment, supplies and auxiliary devices at a total cost of 10 million pounds.

As part of the implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to work on the governance of the State's border ports and the establishment of central testing and inspection plants covering all geographical sectors of the Arab Republic of Egypt in order to expedite the termination of customs release procedures for all goods. In the light of Ms. Nevein Jamma - Minister of Commerce and Industry's directives to develop all labs for all the Ministry's affiliates.

Eng.Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, inaugurated chemical testing laboratories in the branch of GOEIC in Nuweiba after developing them, upgrading their infrastructure and equipping them with state-of-the-art rapid inspection devices, supplies and auxiliaries, and training examiners in conforming the goods received to Egyptian standards.

The opening ceremony was attended by Major General Yasser Ezzat Al-Assi, Head of the Port of Nuweiba, and Ms. Sahar Attiya, Head of the Central Department of Chemical and Food Plants of the General Export and Import Control Authority.

Eng. Essam Al-Naggar noted that the development of the Commission's plants at a cost of more than 10 million Egyptian pounds is aimed at examining chemical messages as well as conducting chemical tests on samples of industrial goods (detergents and adhesives - hair care products - packaging and paper products - Formica wood) Coming to the port of Nuweiba to ensure that it conforms to Egyptian standards. This is done by upgrading the plant infrastructure and equipping it with the necessary installations. Equipping the plant with the latest rapid inspection devices. The plant is equipped with chemicals, supplies and auxiliaries. In the field of human resources, examiners have been trained to comply with Egyptian standards by the latest inspection methods.
