Eng. Essam El-Naggar welcomes a delegation from the Japanese University in Alexandria to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Amr Al-Taweel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Japanese University in Alexandria, and Dr. Tamer Megahed, Head of the Electric Power Department, and Eng. Amr Sayer, Director of the Energy Conservation Project at the University. A number of GOEIC leaders participated in the meeting. Eng. Essam Al-Naggar reviewed the services of GOEIC and the system of huge laboratories owned by GOEIC and the role of GOEIC in facilitating the movement of foreign trade. the meeting discussed how to cooperate between the two parties, such as training Japanese university students at the laboratories of GOEIC, and also the university’s assistance to GOEIC in obtaining ISO 50001 for energy management, which aims to improve energy-related performance and energy consumption efficiency. then the delegation made an inspection tour of the Industrial and Chemical GOEIC laboratories at the airport branch. At the end of the visit, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar thanked the delegation for its visit to GOEIC, and Prof. Dr. Amr Al-Taweel, Dean of the College of Engineering, invited Eng. Essam Al-Naggar to visit the Japanese Society.
