)GOEIC) signs a cooperation protocol with the National Postal Authority to facilitate trade movement and export development

The General Organization for Export and Import Control signs a cooperation protocol with the National Postal Authority with the aim of facilitating the movement of trade, developing and encouraging Egyptian exports, and overcoming any obstacles that hinder their prosperity, development and expansion in all fields by taking advantage of the enormous capabilities and diverse services provided by the National Postal Authority.

The protocol was signed by both Eng. Essam Al-Naggar Chairman of (GOEIC), and Dr. Sherif Farouk- Chairman of the National Postal Authority, in the presence of executive leaders from both bodies.

Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of (GOEIC), stated that the signing of this protocol comes within the framework of supporting the state’s plans to facilitate the business community to facilitate trade movement and develop and encourage exports, pointing out that this protocol works to improve the speed of distribution of shipments and ensure the applying of the highest security and safety standards for shipments, in addition to securing and protecting the data circulating between the two parties through electronic data exchange, especially after (GOEIC) announcement to the imminent activation of electronic payment services through its website.

Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the National Postal Authority, said that this protocol comes within the framework of supporting the state’s plans to facilitate trade movement and develop and encourage exports. in a way that contributes to improving Egyptian exports and developing the export capabilities of businessmen in Egypt, by taking advantage of the enormous capabilities possessed by the Egyptian Post, represented in infrastructure, and the largest logistical transport fleet in Egypt, in addition to the wide geographical spread and the various and diverse services provided through more than 4,300 post offices, in addition to postal booths and mobile mail cars, this ensures that the service reaches the largest possible number of customers with ease and convenience. the cooperation with (GOEIC) will contribute greatly to the promotion and development of Egyptian exports by facilitating all procedures for exporters. pointing out that as soon as the protocol is activated, Egyptian Post will deliver all items and parcels belonging to the (GOEIC) and deliver them to exporters through the Egyptian Post’s multiple logistical services, ensuring that the service is provided in the fastest time and with the required quality.

Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of (GOEIC), praised the development achieved by the Egyptian Post in developing an advanced transport fleet covering all the governorates of the Republic, supported by the means and the updated technologies and thanks to a highly experienced and competent team, the Postal Authority is able to provide all postal, financial and logistics services of high quality, noting that this cooperation between the two institutions is a model for the cooperation and integration of state institutions to provide the best services to citizens. It also contributes to the better utilization of the possibilities available in the two institutions to achieve effective cooperation in order to facilitate trade movement and achieve economic prosperity.
