Eng. Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, hosted by the LYNXFORUM to discuss measuring and controlling carbon limits (CBAM) and its impact on Egyptian exports, and evaluating the opportunities and challenges associated with the new European mechanism for carbon tax. Public policy discussions with speakers and industry representatives from Egypt and the European Union about the growth opportunities and challenges for the targeted industries and proposals to support DE carbonization initiatives and facilitate the access of Egyptian exports to European markets.

LYNXFORUM will address the implications of the European Commission's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) mechanism on Egyptian exports in the fields of cement, fertilizers, iron and steel, aluminum, and energy.
