Eng.Essam Al-Naggar the Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control welcomed Unilever Mashreq Global Representatives, Mr.Essam Ahmed Baduelan General Manager of Unilever Mashreq Global Brand Protection in the Middle East and Mr. Khaled Mohammed, Director of Unilever Mashreq's Global Brand Protection in the Middle East, from GOEIC attend both Dr. Dalia Shahab, Head of the Central Department of Exports and Origin and Mr. Mohamed Hamed, Director General of the General Directorate of Conventions and Verification, within the framework of the role of the General Organization for Export and Import Control in maintaining the reputation and effectiveness of Egyptian exports in importing countries in an optimal manner.

The company applied for the preservation of the company's products of Egyptian goods exported abroad because of its confidence in the role of GOEIC and efforts to support exporting companies and solve problems facing exporters and the speed of responding to them.

In light of this, all branches of GOEIC have been instructed to issue certificates originating in the name of the company only to the company's delegates authorized by the company, as it notes recently that some companies export products to the trademark company Unilever Mashreq without the company's consent.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Eng. Essam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, reviewed the vital and effective role of GOEIC in training courses, issuing conformity certificates 17065, certificates of free sale and examination of contract samples.

It was also agreed that GOEIC would be in constant contact to benefit from the privileges granted to exporters, as well as prepare workshops for the company's exporters to raise awareness and familiarize themselves with the rules of origin and follow up on the updating of international trade agreements with Egypt and the new foreign markets available for export.
