Modification data or recording data in the exporters register

Service description

Modification or recording the registration data of establishments and companies registered in the Exporters Register in accordance with Law 118/1975 and Regulation 770/2005

Modification date

GOEIC must be notified of any amendment to the commercial register or tax card within 60 days from the occurrence of the amendment.

Types of modifications that do not affect the entry in the exporters’ register.

  • Modify the trade name or trademark.
  • Modify the responsible for export
  • Modify the capital without being less than the minimum required according to the import and export regulations 770/2005.
  • Modify the address of the headquarters within the same governorate.
  • Modify of the legal entity without the expiration of the legal personality.
  • Opening or limiting the export activity in the establishments subject to Law 159 / 1981 AD
  • Adding or deleting an authorized agent in the individual property
  • Entry or exit of a partner or modification of his capacity
  • Modification the person who has the right to manage and sign.
  • Add or delete a manager.

Place of service:

  • Branches :MAROUF - Sixth of October - Alexandria - Port Said - Suez - Damietta - Office of the Investors Services Complex in the General Investment Authority
  • Taking into account obtaining the service from the place where the file was opened for the first time upon registration.

Conditions for obtaining the service

    1. A year has not passed since the expiry of the export card without renewing its validity.
    2. That the commercial registry has not been erased due to the expiry of the natural or legal personality.
    3. That the file at the Tax Authority has not been permanently suspended due to the expiration of the natural or legal personality.
    4. The natural personality has not expired due to the death of the person concerned.
    5. Legal entity of the company has not been changed and as a result the legal personality has expired
    6. That the head office fixed in the commercial registry has not been changed from one governorate to another
    7. That the export activity registered in the commercial register submitted at registration or last renewal has not been canceled.
    8. If the facility is subject to the Investment Law 8/1997 and amended by Law 72/2017, the export activity in the commercial register submitted at registration or the last renewal of the data has not been modified to become a specific item.
    9. That the capital has not been modified to be less than the minimum legally prescribed.
    10. That a decision was not issued by the Minister of trade and Industry to suspend (for a year) or cancel its registration (for a period of 3 years) for the source’s perpetration of one of the perversions mentioned in Articles 62-63 of Regulation 770/2005, or a decision was issued to suspend or cancel the registration and the penalty period has expired.

Note:

    If, upon submitting a request to amend the data, it appears that one of the previous cases has occurred, the administrative record shall be deleted.

Documents required obtaining the service:

Firstly: The individual facilities

  1. The original amendment request form identical to the commercial register signed by the concerned person, his agent, or his authorized representative.
  2. A copy of the national ID card or passport of the applicant, signature and original for review.
  3. A recent official extract from the commercial register in which the required amendment is proven, valid for a period of no less than 90 days, and a recent statement that has not been issued for more than 90 days.
  4. The Old exporters register cards which will be modified
  5. A copy of the tax card in which the amendments are installed and the original for viewing
    If the applicant for the amendment is an agent or authorized representative:
  6. A copy of a notarized authorized from the real estate registry and the original for review (even a second agent is accepted only)Or the original authorization form signed by the person concerned in front of the competent employee, or the signature is authenticated by the bank
  7. Acknowledgment of the validity of the authorized signed by the agent (if the applicant is an agent of the facility)
    If an authorized agent in the Commercial Register has been added or modified.
    In addition to the documents from 1 to 7, the following must be completed:
  8. Acknowledgment of the entry in the exporters’ register of the authorized agent personally signed by him in front of the employee in charge of the department, or his signature being validated by the bank.
  9. A copy of the national ID card or passport of the authorized agent and the original for viewing
  10. In the event of a modification by the Exporter (The person concerned must be an authorized agent or an employee of the facility)
    The following documents are submitted:
    • A copy of the national ID card or passport of the holder of the export practice certificate and the original for viewing.
    • The original export practice certificate for the person responsible for exporting.
      OR a receipt of payment of the export practice course fees at the Authority,
      OR a letter from the regional center for foreign trade training stating that the training course has been booked at the center,
      OR a letter from the Chamber of Commerce stating that the training course has been booked
    • If the holder of the export practice certificate is an employee of the establishment, he shall also submit the origin of the Insurance print (insurances form).

Secondly, Partnership and money companies

  1. The original form of the commercial registry amendment request form has no right to manage and sign, or his agent or whomever he delegates.
  2. A copy of the national ID card number or passport to obtain the application, signature and origin.
  3. A recent official extract from the commercial register in which the amendment is proven, valid for a period of not less than 90 days, and a recent statement that has not been issued for more than 90 days.
  4. The Old exporters register cards will be modified.
  5. A copy of the tax card with the amendment attached, with reference to the original
    If the applicant for the amendment is an agent or authorized representative.
  6. A copy of a notarized authorized from the real estate registry and the original for review (even a second agent is accepted only) or the original authorization form signed by the person concerned in front of the competent employee, or the signature is authenticated by the bank.
  7. Acknowledgment of the validity of the authorized signed by the agent (if the applicant is an agent of the company)
    If a general partner is entered or the capacity of a partner is changed to a partner in partnerships.
    In addition to the documents from 1 to 7, the following must be completed:
  8. Acknowledgment of the entry in the exporters’ register of the new general partner signed by him personally in front of the employee in charge of the department or his signature being validated by the bank.
  9. A copy of the national ID card or passport of the new joint partner and the original for viewing.
    If it is amended, who has the right to manage in the money companies?
    In addition to documents 1 to 7, the following is required:
  10. Acknowledgment of the entry in the exporters’ register signed by him in front of the employee in charge of the department or his signature being authenticated by the bank.
  11. A copy of the national ID card or his passport and the original for viewing
  12. In the event that the person responsible for exporting is amended; he must be one of their names in the commercial registry, a limited partner, or an employee of the company.
    The following documents are submitted:
    • A copy of the national ID card or passport of the holder of the export practice certificate and the original for viewing.
    • The original export practice certificate for the person responsible for exporting.
      OR a receipt of payment of the export practice course fees at the Authority.
      OR a letter from the regional center for foreign trade training stating that the training course has been booked at the center
      OR a letter from the Chamber of Commerce stating that the training course has been booked
    • If the holder of an export practice certificate is an employee of the company, he shall also submit
      The origin of the insurance print (insurances form)
    • If the holder of an export practice certificate is a recommended partner, the Company contract is also submitted.

Third, public sector companies

  1. The original amendment request form signed by the chairman of the board of directors or whoever has the right to manage, his agent or whomever he delegates, in conformity with the commercial register in which the amendment is recorded (if existed)
    OR identical to the establishment deed, memorandum of association, or the amendment fact sheet
    OR in accordance with the decision to amend the data approved by the authority to which the authority or institution belongs.
  2. A copy of the national ID card or passport of the applicant and the original for viewing.
  3. A recent official extract from the commercial register in which the required amendment is proven, valid for a period of no less than 90 days, and a recent statement that has not been issued for more than 90 days.
    Or in the absence of a commercial register
    The fact sheet on the amendment or a decision approved by the authority to which the body or institution belongs.
  4. The Old exporters register cards will be modified.
    If the applicant for the amendment is an agent or authorized representative
  5. A copy of a notarized authorized from the real estate registry and the original for perusal (even a second agent is accepted only) The original authorization form signed by the person concerned in front of the competent employee, or the signature is authenticated by the bank.
  6. Acknowledgment of the validity of the authorized signed by the agent (if the applicant is an agent of the company)
    If the person who has the right to manage in public sector companies is modified.
    In addition to the documents from 1 to 6, the following must be completed:
  7. Registration Decision the exporters’ register signed by those who have the right to manage and sign in person before the employee in charge of the administration, or his signature is validated by the bank or with the seal of the holding company or the ministry to which the company belongs.
  8. A copy of the national ID card or passport of those who have the right to manage and sign, or the managing director or the chairman of the board of directors, and the original for perusal
  9. A copy of the decision to appoint the new board of directors with a live seal of the emblem of the Republic
  10. 10-in the case of modifying the responsible for export
    (Should one of their names appear in the commercial registry or a decision to amend the data approved by the authority to which the authority or institution belongs, or be an employee of the authority or institution?)
    Only the following documents are submitted
    • A copy of the national ID card or passport of the holder of the export practice certificate and the original for viewing
    • The original export practice certificate for the person responsible for exporting
      OR a letter from the regional center for foreign trade training stating that the training course has been booked at the center
      OR a letter from the Chamber of Commerce stating that the training course has been booked
    • If the holder of the export practice certificate is an employee of the authority or institution, he shall also submit The origin of the insurance print (insurances form)

Fourth, associations or federations

  1. Original of the amendment request form signed by the person who has the right to manage and sign, or his agent or whomever he authorizes (if existed) in conformity with the commercial register Or in accordance with the decision to amend the data approved by the entity to which the association is affiliated (in the absence of a commercial registry)
  2. A copy of the national ID card or passport of the applicant and the original for review
  3. A recent official extract from the commercial register in which the required amendment is proven, valid for a period of no less than 90 days, and a recent statement that has not been issued for more than 90 days.
    Or in the absence of a commercial register
    A copy of an acknowledgment or letter with the amended data approved by the seal of the Republic’s emblem live from the authority or ministry to which the association belongs
  4. the Old exporters register cards will be modified.
    If the applicant for the amendment is an agent or authorized representative.
  5. A copy of a notarized authorized from the real estate registry and the original for review (even a second agent is accepted only Or the original authorization form signed by the person concerned in front of the competent employee, or the signature is authenticated by the bank.
  6. Acknowledgment of the validity of the authorized signed by the agent (if the applicant is an agent of the facility)
    If the person who has the right to manage and sign in addition to the documents from 1 to 6 is amended, the following will be fulfilled:
  7. Acknowledgment of the entry in the exporters’ register personally signed by him in front of the employee in charge of the administration, or his signature is approved by the bank, or with a live seal from the authority or ministry to which the association belongs.
  8. A copy of the national ID card or the passport number for those who have the right to manage, sign, and the original.
  9. Modification the responsible for export
    The following documents are submitted:
    • A copy of the ID national number or passport of the holder of the export practice certificate and the original for viewing
    • Submit the export practice certificate to the person responsible for exporting, provided that he has the right to manage and sign, or an employee of the association
      OR a receipt of payment of the export practice course fees at the Authority
      OR a letter from the regional center for foreign trade training stating that the training course has been booked at the center
      OR a letter from the Chamber of Commerce stating that the training course has been booked
    • If the holder of an export practice certificate is an employee of the association, he shall submit. The origin of the insurance print (insurances form) and the original for view

Procedures for modifying or adding data in the exporters register

  1. Book an appointment through Goeic’s website (in case the application is submitted with a favor - October - the office of the Investors Services Complex in the General Investment Authority only)

  2. Submitting the required documents in accordance with Regulation 770/2005 (in case the documents required for the service are not completed, another appointment will be booked through the organization’s website)
  3. Check the required documents
  4. Determining the value of the prescribed fees through the application receiving window
  5. Pay the fees to the authority’s treasury with a visa
  6. Financial and technical auditor
  7. Enter the exporters register card data
  8. The person concerned should review the card before wrapping it and receiving it
  9. Packaging and delivery

Important Notes:

  1. Obtaining document forms from Goeic’s website only

  3. A resource development stamp is presented of 2 pounds + a stamp of 1 pound on copy of the authorized.
  4. The agent may not sign the personal declarations to be submitted by.
    • The concerned person and the authorized agent in the individual establishments.
    • General Partner in Partnerships
    • Who has the right to manage and sign in money companies, public sector companies and associations
  5. In the event that someone who fulfills the declarations travels outside the country, the declarations and a copy of the passport shall be authenticated by the Egyptian embassy or consulate abroad.
  6. Declarations are valid for 3 months, and the authorization is valid for one time and for one procedure only
  7. If the person concerned or who has the right to manage and sign outside the country and delegate his legal representative to submit an application for obtaining the service at the authority, authorized issued by a foreign authority must be certified by the Egyptian embassy or consulate abroad and deposited in the real estate registry in Egypt
  8. If the activity in the commercial register is limited to specific items; those items are specified in the export card
  9. Export Practice Certificate
    • Issued by one of the centers approved by the Ministry of trade and Industry, which are: - The Training Center at the organization's Headquarters, the Foreign Trade Training Center, or the Chamber of Commerce

  10. In the case of submitting a commercial register of less than 5 years, the expiry date of the commercial register shall be the expiry date of the exporters register card
  11. After amending or recording the data of the export card, the card for dealing with customs must be activated from the customs computer, car customs at Cairo International Airport
  12. If, when amending the data, it appears that an effective modification has occurred in the entry, one of the conditions of the registration is lost, the data is not modified and the entry is administratively written off
  13. If a decision was issued by the Minister of trade and Industry to suspend the facility for a period of one year because the exporter committed one of the violations mentioned in Articles 62 and 63 of Regulation 770/2005, no transaction request for the facility will be accepted during the suspension period.
  14. If a decision is issued by the Minister of trade and Industry to write off the establishment’s registration for a period of 3 years due to the exporter committing one of the violations mentioned in Articles 62 and 63 of Regulation 770/2005, the registration will be canceled for a period of 3 years, and the registration may not be re-registered except after the expiry of the penalty period
