Service description

In order to save time and facilitate the course of procedures for commercial customers, this service allows them to submit Application for Renewal of Registration of Production Supplies for a New Period (five years), according to the period stated in document of activity, to GOEIC using the online portal and it aims at providing a mechanism for the process of submitting such application, which will save time spent on the service.

Place of Service

The head office of GOEIC in Cairo and the affiliating branches (6th of October, Alexandria, Port Said, Damietta, Sharqia, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Asyut, Sohag and Aswan).

Requirements of Service

·         The customer must have an active e-services account on the portal.

·         The procedure must be completed within 15 days as of the date of submitting the application through the portal.

Required Documents

First: Documents required to renew the production supplies cards for the existing factories:

1.      The renewed industrial register certificate in case it has expired.

2.      Renewing the commercial register in case it has expired.

3.      Registration renewal application signed by the interested party or the managing director in partnerships or his legal representative (representative or agent).

Second: Required documents for the renewal of the supplies import card of the cooperative association:

1.      Renewing the industrial register, if any.

2.      An application for renewal of card signed by the interested party, the managing director or his legal representative or by a warrant from the interested party.

3.      The approval of Department of Industrial Crafts and Productive Cooperation.

Third: Required documents for renewing the production supplies import card for agricultural production projects (plant and livestock production - fish stock):

1.      In case of individuals and companies:

o    A letter from the competent authority at the Ministry of Agriculture stating the explicit approval of GOEIC to renew the production supplies requirements card and, in case of companies, the renewal of the commercial register is requested if it has expired.

o    An application for renewal of registration signed by whoever has the right to sign on behalf of the facility or by a power of attorney or a warrant from him.

2.      As for agricultural associations:

o    A letter from the competent authority of the Ministry of Agriculture with the explicit approval of GOEIC to renew production supplies card.

o    An application for renewal of registration signed by whoever has the right to sign on s behalf of the association or by a power of attorney or warrant.

Fourth: Press Organizations:

1.      A letter issued by the official to GOEIC stating the organization's consent to renew the supplies card.

2.      Renewing the industrial register, if any.

3.      An application for registration renewal signed by whoever has the right to sign on
behalf of the organization or by a power of attorney or a warrant.

Fifth: Touristic ventures:

1.      Renewing approval provided by the General Department for Supplies of the Ministry of Tourism to extract the production supplies card, and such card shall be requested only after five years; in the case of temporary issuance.

2.      A renewed license for the touristic facility.

3.      Renewing the commercial register in case it has expired.

4.      An application for registration renewal signed by whoever has the right to sign on behalf of the facility or by a power of attorney or a warrant.

Sixth: Renewal of production supplies cards for the production establishments affiliated to the military production :

1.      Approval of the National Authority for Military Production to renew the production supplies card, specifying the civilian products for which production is required to be imported.

2.      Renewing the commercial register in case it has expired.

3.      An application for registration renewal signed by whoever has the right to sign on behalf of the factory or by a power of attorney or a warrant.

Seventh: Special cards for importing supplies of packaging (for the exporters):

1.      Renewing exporters register.

2.      Renewing the commercial register in case it has expired.

3.      A renewed tax card with packaging activity included therein.

4.      Renewing the document indicating the activity (industrial register, operation license, approval of competent authority assigned to supervise the activity) in case it has expired.

5.      An application for registration renewal signed by whoever has the right to sign on behalf of the facility or by a power of attorney or a warrant.

Eighth: Documents required to renew the production supplies cards for the oil companies:

1.      A letter from the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation stating that there is no objection to renewal of the company card and that the contract concluded between the company and the Cooperative Of Petrol is still in force.

2.      Renewing the commercial register in case it has expired.

3.      An application for registration renewal signed by whoever has the right to manage and sign or by a power of attorney or a warrant. 

Note:

·         In all cases, the copy of the tax card shall be available after reviewing the original to obtain the tax registration number.

Service procedures

·         The renewal application shall be submitted every five years as of the date of registration or the date of last renewal unless the industrial register is temporary or the tourism license is temporary then it shall have the same period specified in such documents.

Duration of Service

o    24 hours as of the time of submitting the renewal application while all the documents are complete.
