The Prime Minister follows up the position of Al-Nasr Export and Import Company "Gosoor" and directs the optimal use of its assets to serve the goals of expanding the volume of exports, especially to African countries

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting today, to follow up on the position of Al-Nasr Export and Import Company “Gosoor”, in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Samir the Minister of Trade& industry and the Plenipotentiary Minister/ Yahya Al-Wathiq Be-Allah, Head of the Commercial Representation and Eng. Essam al Naggar the Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control.

The Prime Minister indicated that today's meeting comes within the framework of following up the position of Al-Nasr Export and Import Company "Gosoor", after a decision was issued to transfer its affiliation from the Ministry of Public Business Sector to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, pointing to the role of this company in achieving the targets of the export sector. 

During the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly directed the need to develop an integrated plan to activate the work of the "Gosoor" company, based on the goals and purpose of establishing this company, with the need to work on the optimal use of the various assets it owns, especially abroad, in order to serve the goals of the Egyptian state. In expanding the volume of exports, especially to African countries.

During the meeting, the Minister of Trade and Industry stated that since the decision to transfer the affiliation of “Gosoor” to the Ministry of Trade and Industry was issued, a number of meetings were held with the company's officials to find out its current status and the various activities it carries out in detail. During the meeting, the position of the company's assets at home and abroad was reviewed, and the position of these assets, whether ownership, usufruct, or lease, and proposals for optimal utilization of them. 

Eng. Ahmed Samir indicated, during the meeting, that work will be done during the next stage to activate the role of the "Gosoor" company, and its carrying out brokerage, marketing, transportation, logistics and agency services for Egyptian exports, in addition to undertaking the tasks of registering companies and issuing all certificates and permits related to marketing and selling Egyptian products in foreign markets, in addition to assisting Egyptian companies to participate in exhibitions and promotional events, as well as facilitating the connection of exporting companies to potential importers in global markets, and introducing them to the quality of the required products in coordination with the relevant bodies and agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and work to maximize the benefit of Egypt's electronic platform in this regard.
