The General Organization for Export and Import Control is an
executive body affiliated to Ministry of Trade and Industry; and
works as a service provider. It aims at
customer protection and maintaining the good image of Egypt
worldwide through inspecting the quality of imports and exports;
using the most recent techniques and methods; in addition to
preparing exports and imports statistics and reports.
GOEIC has the most modern and fully
equipped laboratories throughout the country. The labs are
internationally accredited; and work as a milestone for Egypt to
ensure its competitive position in the world market.
